Gadsden State Applicants for Fall 2012

U.S.A. Alabama

:nurse: I turned in my paperwork to Gadsden State's RN program. The waiting is killing me. The deadline was April 15th. I wonder how long it will take to hear something? I know finals and grades are not posted yet, but if anybody knows how long it will be, please advise!

I do not go to Gadsden either. Ihave taken all my classes at Georgia Highlands in Rome. Hopefully 150 points will get you accepted. I do not know anyone that attends there so that's why I was asking about scores..I have no one to compare mine to.

I have around 200 points, if my calculations are correct & I had all A's in my science classes. My teas was not so good, but I'm hoping my grades will balance that out. I live in Rome, so it may take a few extra days for me to get a letter.

i got my acceptance letter yesterday also. my name is at the beginning of the alphabet. good luck to all!=)

Congratulations to those that have made it in. I'm hoping there wasn't as many applicants this year, so maybe I will stand a chance of getting accepted also. I didn't do spectacular on the TEAS but have most of my other classes completed with a decent GPA. I guess we will all know one way or another pretty soon.

I received my acceptance letter for the RN program a couple days ago. :w00t:I had about 203 points total . I plan to take the summer off and take pharmacology this fall. Congrats and good luck to everyone! Even if you make the alternate list you have a good chance of getting a seat in class.

Can you guys already register or do you have to call to be cleared?

:nurse:I went up to the school because I wanted to change my schedule for the summer and had already signed up for other classes. For some strange reason, you cannot change your schedule online if you have "confirmed." (which I guess means paid, because I had used my credit card and paid online.) Anyway, after the lady in the nursing office gets your letter back saying you are accepting the slot, they do something in the nursing office and then that allows you to register for the class.

I am sure that there are going to be some folks that do not accept the placements. Don't give up hope. If you read last year's posts, several got in on the alternate list, which I would imagine is where folks decide to decline who were closer to the top of the list. Keep your hopes high and pray! I will too for you all. I know folks worked very hard and waiting is quite difficult.:)

You are so sweet! Thank you SO much, prayers are needed!

You are truly deserving of making the cut. Optimism like flattery will get you everywhere. I like the way you think. I myself look at the glass half full. I know those of us that make it into the program are going to be overwhelmed in all ways imaginable, but with a positive attitude we will all persevere.

i did not get accepted for RN. I am keeping my fingers crossed for LPN. Mrs. Mayo said the normally admit around 35 per campus. Does anyone know about how many points normally get you into that program?? None of the advisors will say anything :/

I finally got my letter & I'm in!!! So excited!! Congrats to everyone!

:nurse: Yay!!!!!!!! I am so very happy for you!! I hope you have a good summer and maybe I will see you on campus come fall!:yeah:
