strike relief work

I am considering doing some week long assignments for strike relief in cali. Has anyone else done this and what are some things I might need to know.

Dont EVER do strike work. You will undermine what the RNs at that facility are trying to accomplish! Have some respect for these courageous RNs and ultimately for yourself. Our hospitals are run by corporations whose bottom line is profit. Patients are the ones who ultimately suffer in this type of system. RNs know what the patients needs are since we take care of the patients. It would be far better to send a letter of support to the RNs or a letter to the CEO of the hospital asking him/her to settle with the nurses. Most of the outstanding issues are usually about patient care anyway. Thanks for your question.
