Good agencies in Minneapolis/St.Paul area?

Specialties Agency

Published

Hello, I'm working as a travel nurse right now, but would like to do agency or per diem work in the Minneapolis/St.Paul, MN area. I know how a good agency and my fellow nurses input can make a difference. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? Thanks!

Hello! I know we have some agencies in our area, although I apologize I don't actually KNOW the agencies. I work at a large hospital in St. Paul, and we occasionally have some traveling nurses, but that has been decreasing. Census has been down for all the Twin Cites hospitals and as far as actual hospitals, VERY slim pickings for RN positions. It has also been extremely difficult to pick up any extra hours as a staff nurse. So, I know the AGENCIES for travelling nurses are good, but I don't know how busy they are. What area are you from?

I'm originally from the cities and worked there for 3 years (I loved it)! My current travel assignment is in Seattle in a med/surg float pool. I do know a little bit about the situation in the cities. There are no travel positions either (I have looked). So I was hoping to do a little per diem through an agency until better permanent or travel positions open up in the future. Thank you for the reply.

Good luck with everything. I really enjoy working in the Cities, it's just a little tense at the moment with RN layoffs and such. I am a great fan of the state union, and the hospitals in the areas are great. I sure hope the market picks up. Hope to see you back in the area!
