That's good to hear. Tell her to be more patient and try to apply with agencies as well.

Hi guys, just a clarification with regards to visa application. I lodged my apllication online for visitor visa subclass 600 (business stream) last march 31. I already attached all pertinent documents. I just need to know what's the next step? Should I just wait for them to contact me? When should I start with the medical exams? Any info would greatly help. Thanks!

Hi ma'am belle_v2g after 2 months of job hunting..my daughter got a job. Thanks to God. Stand corrected she got PR last Dec. 16, 2014 and she's back in Melbourne last Feb. 3, 2015.

I was interviewed last 01 May 2015. After the interview, the interviewer asked for the contact details of my references and told me that they will inform me if I fail or pass after a week. I know someone who was also interviewed on the same day but for different area already got an unsuccessful results sent via email by the HR of the same hospital. I waited for the whole week and I got no reply. Last monday, I emailed the interviewer and she answered that she's just waiting for my references. She emailed me again yesterday that she is still waiting for my last reference. After 20 minutes, she informed me that the reference checks are already complete and she'll get back to me.

I was told by almost all RNs in Australia that the reference check is an almost sure indication that I got the job if it happened after the interview. I am hoping for this. I don't know how my reference checks are and I am wishing they are satisfactory. I still got no reply today.

What do you think of my application status? I need sponsorship and the interviewer said that they do sponsor. What will happen after the reference check? Will nomination, sponsorship ensues?

Who pays for the visa? Is it the employer or the applicant?

Checking for references isn't always a guarantee that you are getting the job. It is just a routine background check that most employers have to do before offering the applicant the job. But know that you are shortlisted for the position you applied, you are almost certainly quite there.

Once the reference checks turned out well, they will decide to give you the job offer, in writing, and would ask you to sign the document and all there is to fill out and comply.

You would probably have to pay for your own visa as the hospital would have to pay for their own fees for sponsoring an overseas applicant, which is not cheap if you think about it.

Hi. Thanks.

What is the process after signing the job offer or contract?

Is it nomination, then sponsorship then visa app? How long does it usually take?

I am thinking of this since I am about to receive my ANMAC and will immediately lodge an EOI then visa for PR. I think it will save me more because of the cost of both visas are really expensive.

Hi everyone,

anyone here applying for Subclass 190?

I only have 55 points and I am planning to take this visa. I am just confused with one of the previous comments that when you apply for this visa, look for a sponsorship first then apply for EOI? or if after receiving the ANMAC, apply for EOI and wait for the the invitation then you can apply for 190 visa? any help will be much appreciated. thanks in advance

The latter is the right track.

Hi Jackelyne,RN

did you go home after the bridging visa? Thanks.

Hi Jackelyne,RN

did you go home after the bridging visa? Thanks.

Bridging Visa? you mean when the visa expired and bridging visa activated when PR visa applied already? Not applicable for me, my visa was still active when I applied for PR. So I stayed here in Oz while waiting for approval. I hope this helps.

Hi! I just would like to ask in regards to pay slips. I have worked in saudi arabia for 2 yrs and within those span of time we were not given any forms of pay slip, our salary were directly deposited in our ATM cards. I am just curious if can I just ask like maybe a lettter from the manager that states the amount of pay/salary I had before?and for the reference letter,do you think it is acceptable that the nurse manager who is going to sign the letter is not already working in the facility?hope you can respond to my queries.

One more thing, just curious does the immigration officers calls or contact the person who is signing the letter? Because a had a nurse manager before, unfortunately she is not good at speaking English, she speaks arabic though.

I would like to know if is there someone a pinoy RN whose nursing experience in the Philippines is/was NARS program (6month contract)? Do you have any idea how to get a pay slip?
