    I mean, when you received the email from the embasy requesting you to have your medical exam, did you noticed the name of the case officer who sent you the email? I think you should contact her..

    no name in the email they sent. i guess i just have to wait until monday.

    When did you receive their eMail that you are for Medicals and when did you submit yourself for such procedure?

    I hope I am wrong but as to my case, I also got delayed in submitting myself for Medicals that's why my visa is also a bit delayed. Lodged my eVisa last Sept.17th and had Medicals on the 24th, all the results were received by their office last Oct.1 and I got a call from DIAC Manila conducting background check last Oct.3. Until now, no news from them. Let's keep up the faith.

    I would like to know what is the "average" processing time for student visas? I heard for La Trobe it's a streamlined process, so it is much faster. it's been 3 weeks and still no word from the embassy. I'm getting more anxious as another goes by :-(
    Yes LTU is under streamlined processing but it is only applicable to certain courses I think. The way I understood what I've read is that the IRON program is not among those courses under Streamlined visa.

    I think so. I've been communicating with my case officer from the time i started working with my medicals.

    I try the calculator in the web and I have passed the 60 points mark...

    My problem is I do not have a paid experience but I have 3 years volunteer experience

    Will they consider my experience???

    Another is what type of IELTS is needed in SKILLED MIGRATION ...GENERAL OR ACADEMIC

    I think you still need to be assessed with AHPRA.
