I need advice on Clinicals in CRNA school

I am seeking advice from CRNAs and SRNAs regarding starting clinicals in CRNA school and how best to be successful in clinicals. I attend a front-loaded program (2 semesters of didactic), and will be starting clinicals in 3 months. I've seen and heard horror stories about SRNAs and their struggles in clinicals and would like to avoid the same pitfalls. What worked for you during your clinicals? How best can one impress the CRNA that you are working with from day one and build a good supportive relationship thereafter? One of my main concerns in clinicals is whether I will be fast enough especially during fast turn-overs...which I'm afraid may irk my preceptor. Did anyone have this issue and how did you overcome it? Also, any advice on how I can best manage my time between clinicals all day and writing out good care-plans for the next day? What worked for you? I know these are lots of questions but any advice from anyone whose "been there" will be really appreciated.
