DNP admission questions

Hello everyone,

It is the first time I am using this website to post something and I hope to get great answers!

I am currently working on my application for a DNP program. Being a nurse trained outside the U.S. is making answering the admission questions very challenging for me.

One of the questions that is bothering me the most is the one that requires you to suggest and explain a leadership job position that you can see yourself filling in after getting your DNP that would allow you to change the U.S. health care system. (big stuff)

My question now is.... is a job position as a Nurse Consultant in a health department considered as leadership ? From the job positions that I have read about until now this is one that for me seems to have more connection to the government; therefore, more likely to have some influence in changing the health care system in the U.S.
