Does UTMB accept CLEP scores?

Yes. We accept up to 12 hours of CLEP scores, which must be posted on your official transcript.

I didn't tell the interviewer it was my first interview. ugh! i should have! i really want to get into UTMB SOOOO BAD!!!!!!!!!! i don't want to get negative yet i don't want to get my hopes up either! i asked the lady who interviewed me how many people they interviewed and how many will get accepted, and she said for the generic program they interviewed 200, and 20 will get accepted..... There's NO WAY!

They told us in the "pre-interview" room that it would be 70, and that they were interviewing 100 people.

WHAT!!! That can't be right and if it is I am totally freaked out now as well!!! I thought the numbers were WAY better than that!! Why would it only be 20? Have they already filled the other spots! Now I am really nervous again!

the red one is right..there were 200 interviews, 60 of that 200 was for the bacc2 program.

that leaves about 140 applicants for the 70 spots in the generic program. i can't imagine everyone showed up or even confirmed their invites, which probably puts it around 100 plus ++ interviews for the generic program.

let's not forget there were the hand full of bacc2's that were transferred to the generic pool included in that 70.

it's still pretty good odds for us.

yeah, i couldn't believe the odds! ugh! this is going to be a stressful week of waiting and contemplating whether we all get in or not. I HOPE WE ALL GET IT!!!!

No, they didn't say admit on my interview. They just said the committee would meet the following week and decide. I received my acceptance package 15 days after my interview. I'm sure you'll hear back in the next week or so. Good Luck to you!

During my interview she said she'd recommend that I be admitted to the committee, but they actually didn't take me for the BACC2 program, so it's not 100%... Don't worry. It just depends on who you interviewed with. You're going to do great and be my new study buddies.

I am officially freaking out!!! My interview went well, the lady was SUPER nice. But she was older so she didn't seem to enthusiastic about much. I really wished she would have told me she would recommend me to the committee! I'm so nervous. I was told that they committee would meet today and make a decision and acceptance packets should be out later this week, so we should know by Friday. AH!!!! I hope it's true!!! But I have family coming in this weekend so I'm going to be bummed if I don't get in and they're here when I find out How embarrassing would that be.

My advice would be not to tell your family coming in that you might hear this weekend. My dad told his parents that UT Houston said that we would find out on or by the 15th. I got so mad because if I didn't get in, which I didn't, they would know exactly when to ask.

Hey did anyone that got into the BACC 2 program get a scholarship?

I received a scholarship in my Bacc2 acceptance package. I'm not sure about anything else, yet. I have not heard back from financial aid. I'm also applying to several scholarships outside of the university.
