My office isn't a typical set up in that if you removed the cot and the thermometer/otoscope laying on a shelf, it would look like it could be anyone's room. Its actually an unused classroom that was split into 3 rooms by makeshift walls and well placed shelves.
So my question is - does anyone ever get bored/feel it could work better, ect. with the arrangement of their ofice and rearrange? I didn't do much when I arrived here this year, other than purging the 1900's looking stuff and throw some cute contact paper up. But as I look around, I keep getting stuck. Like I can get one corner to work, but then not another. I'd love to put my desk in front of my big window, but then I think I'm too far from the door. Ugh.

I think I can answer for most of the women...yes they get bored with the "look" and want to rearrange, or change the wall decor, or "spritz" something up, or purge the 1900s looking stuff, etc.,...Me, I don't want to change anything. I still use file folders in my desk drawer that were left by the nurse before me 14 years ago. But that's just who I am...Mr. Excitement.

I plan to rearrange next year. I would do it this year, but quite frankly, all of my furniture is heavy and awkward. Plus, with 4 cots in a tiny room, there's really no good set up. (I'm getting rid of 2 of them next year!) There's so much more potential to my tiny room!

There's no way to rearrange my health room. *sigh* Unless I wanted my desk by the bathroom.
But I am thinking of having hubs build me a new desk, exactly the way I want it. I cannot find one that fits my needs.

I have an actual clinic with curtains so I can't rearrange anything. Although in my office I decorate my desk with pop funko figurines.

I would love to rearrange, but my clinic is too small to move the furniture anywhere else. I have room for one cot behind my assistant's desk and a round table in the middle of the room. My desk is in the cot room, because it won't fit in the clinic. All of my wall space is either taken up by doors or cabinets, except for the one wall where I have the cot. It's a very poor design!
This is basically my problem. I want something different, but I think its been arranged this way for years because its the only way it works. Oh well. Maybe I'll just find some cute decorations this summer :)

BIG plans here! I measured every piece of furniture and measured walls to ensure I move it once - measure twice move once? My predecessor had her desk facing the wall. If I was engrossed on AN the little ghosts would sit there until I realized they were there. I moved the desk and small furniture last year to face the door, this year I am moving the big stuff. My predecessor will sub for me next week, I can't wait to hear the comments when I return. Took down her old digestive/cardiac/bone/ear system posters and replaced with Snoopy. I think the kids could have cared less about those old posters, plus they were creepy.
