Providence TIP Program April 2020

Hi everyone! I wanted to start a thread for timelines/questions about the TIP program for Providence starting in April 2020!

nikkiim226 - looks like our schedules will vary by location, but here was my timeline in case it's helpful

Monday:

  1. Phone call from 206 area code to schedule health screen
  2. This was followed by a confirmation email from the Washington based HR contact who's been in touch since my hire. The email included our orientation week schedule and a request to contact our LCM Torrance department managers regarding any on-site (non-virtual) requirements

Wednesday

  1. Had my health screen at St Josephs, Burbank (which was very quiet and almost empty on the ground floor). The lobby screener said their RN Residents had already been onsite for orientation this week.
  2. Received an email from my unit manager that said the LCM - Torrance education team would send a detailed email regarding orientation schedule for 4/13- 4/20, including any on-site details.

From what I understand our mostly virtual orientation is 4/13- 4/17.

HTH ?

Med-card. Did you get fit tested at your health screen?

Yes you get to take N95 & face shield home. Might help to bring a bag. So it's vaccinations, vision, fit test, and if needed bloodwork.

Oh... they didn’t fit test me at st. Jude for my health screen... ?

St. Jude finally called me today to schedule my health screen for Thursday! I've been waiting like so so long for that phone call :/ has anyone for St. Jude received any additional information?

I got an email today regarding my schedule and some of the on boarding instructions! We also have medication administration test this upcoming Thursday!

If anyone know how this will look like please share!!

Hello,

Anyone from St. Jude Medical Center apart of the pathways program willing to exchange emails? If so just comment your email below. Thank you ?

Hi guys! CONGRATS to all of the new nurses! I am applying for the next cohort and had a quick question. This may have been addressed, but the letters of recommendation, were they uploaded by applicants or those who wrote the letters? I am guessing the letters are supposed to be sent directly to the applicant, then the applicant uploads them to the application?

Thank you!

Correct, you get the LOR’s then upload them yourself.
