International Nurses in the USA
Take it easy on yourself , i'm not sure the english man will find it very easy learning to speak your native language. i suggest you try to practice more speaknig . never be too shy to, speak the language any where and anytime, even if you are afraid you may be wrong or might be laughed at., if you get laughed at. just shrug it off and move on. some day i assure you u'lll become a master. Wishing you the best dearie

what makes nursing school so hard?
Dear, Everbody felt the same way, at some point. Really nothing good comes easy, to make a fantastic nurse u got to work hard and pull thru some how. -- good study habits, ---- having enough rest will get u moving on the right track, "A thousand steps begin with 1 step (forward)," every mansion certainly has a foundation. look on the bright side, be a positive thinker, enjoy what you do, put your best into whatever you do. i assure u;ll make a FANTASTIC CARING NURSE!! wish you the best

nurses and vacations off work
great nures!!!,:) i must say i"m really proud to be a nurse, and enjoy every moment spent in this field of study. sometimes though like every other situation in life, we face our challenges, which only to me refines us clean like pure gold through a fire furnace. dears ive learnt to take each day as it comes with joy,and put in my best as my conscience pleases. i like to have fun too, take a vacation:cool:, party hang out, go to the beach and relax to get a clear head. i assure you its the best therapy for me to keep sane .:chuckle any one out there intrested in telling me how they spend their offdays, vacation , free time outside the walls of nursing? pls feel free to share with others. cos nurses sometimes are too entrenched in their jobs, thus skipping the balance.:loveya:

How many nurses want their children to be nurses too?
honestly, im amazed at the responses we are getting on this thread. if nursing care, meant exactly what it means in the real sense of the word, or meaning it should convey, i see no reason why people should discourage others from heading into this noble and rewarding field. nurses are special people , regardless of our personal differences, personalities and backgronds, we care and cope under extreme conditions, sometimes helping to mold our personalities.................................. if you truly entered into nursing with the right mind set to support and care for the sick!!!, then why shouldnt you be proud of what you do and be quick to support any who shows an interest. personally.......no profession is more rewarding and satisfying. so diversified in terms of specialities. an interest in nursing career is not just enough. a good sign to encourage ans individual into nursing is 1) the person must love nursing, be passionate about nursing and must be proud to be a nurse and associated with nurses
