I'm counting calories on MyFitnessPal.com and it's free. You can download an app on your phone. Then you can scan the foods you are eating. It seems to be helping keep in calories in check. I just started so I'll update you on any weight loss later.

We are put on-call and paid on-call pay. You have 45 mins to get to work once they call you and you can be called in anytime during that shift. We take turns and your over-staffed day is written in a book.

With electronic documentation CNA's should be able to chart vital signs and basic patient care. RN's are able to view their documentation. The person doing the care should be the one documenting it.
We don't run two mainline IV's to infuse Mag. We also piggyback our antibiotics into the mainline with the Mag and infuse then together. This works if the antibiotic is compatible with the Mag.
