  1. Thank you all for the responses. I appreciate them. I will definitely get in contact with the schools here. :)
  2. Hello, my name is Kim and I was just wondering if anyone knew what the requirements are to be come a nursing clinical educator/instructor. I have been a nurse for three years, with a BSN and recently got certified in Orthopedic nursing. I have been precepting new grads and new hires and absolutely love it. I would appreciate any information. Thank you.
  3. Thank you very much for all your advice and suggestions. And congratulations to you for landing your first choice job. :) I will all let you know what happens.
  4. Thank you both for your well wishes. I do have an update. I will be flying out next week and will be interviewing with 4 different nurse managers!!! :) Exciting and nervewrecking at the same time. I really want to make a good impression. I was kind of surprised that I was granted 4 interviews because I thought I was only going to meet the manager I spoke with on the phone. I've been given a great opportunity, and I sure am going to try my best to impress the managers. I was just wondering if anyone has advice for 'face to face' interviews with nurse managers. I would appreciate any and all suggestions, advice, and opinions. Thank you. :)
  5. hello everyone, i have a question about a potential face to face interview for a new grad neuro position. I had a phone interview/screen with a nursing manager, and I thought it went well. Just recently, I received a call about the possibility of the facility flying me over for the face to face interview. should i take this as a good sign? I am really interested in this job and would love to work at this facility. What do you all think? I would appreciate any thoughts, suggestions, advice. Thank you. :)
  6. congratulations! :)
  7. I received my results in less than 48 hrs, but not by much.:) Took my exam at 8 am Friday, and viewed the results at 5 am today (Sunday).

Hi everyone, I am new here. I discovered this forum after taking my nclex yesterday. I can honestly say, (which from reading others' posts, I'm not alone), that I feel like I totally bombed it. I felt like I missed the easiest questions possible. I had a ton of SATAs, one math, some priority (who would you see first) and delegation (the ones where they ask who would you assign to a ped nurse on a med/surg thing), and some questions on OB/Peds and legal/ethics. A lot of meds, that I'm sure I didnt do too well on either. My test shut off at 75, and I was hoping for more, because I felt like I was below the passing requirement. I feel awful, anxious, and scared. I've read many success stories with 75 and some unfortunate ones, and I am aware that there is an 85% chance of passing. I just can't shake the feeling that I failed. I try to keep positive though, even with that thought in my head. :) Hoping for the best!
