  1. Fauci was correct on masks until he flip-flopped. Fauci incorrect on chloroquine as many physicians have used it to treat COVID. The reason Fauci poo-pooed chloroquine is because he took Gates money and Gates wants a vaccine -which is a conflict of interest.
  2. Read Article in its entirety: World’s Largest Vaccine Maker Denies Trial Volunteer’s Illness Claims
  3. I think it is a perfect analogy -and I know history. DeSwine goes around barking "orders" and then send his good squad to enforce compliance. People have lost their livelihoods, and people have committed suicide. DeSwine has blood on his hands. Yes Jesus would have ignored public health orders to keep His Passover which is what the last supper was. Just as he chased money changers from the temple. In Mark 12:17 He tells us to render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s. But honoring God comes before obeying Caesar because no man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon (Mathew 6:24, KJV). Jesus Christ conquered death -I doubt He would have feared the rona. In fact in Mathew 6 he tells us "not to worry" 3 times -so I ain't scared of no rona either.
  4. You're welcome. ? Fauci is not altruistic -he is a conflicted as a man can get. He is beholden to Bill Gates and has taken plenty of his money. Can somebody explain how receiving money from the biggest vaccine pusher on the planet is not a conflict. I'll bet somebody misread my last post and thought is was Fauci's latest recommendation. They are having a good time now.? ??
  5. Congrats on being a "crash test dummy" -I guess that is part of your "adulting" plan. I actually do Nurse teach, coach , and lead. We'll see how your doing in a few years when we understand the long effects of the covid vaccine.
  6. My bet is all healthcare systems will make it mandatory. It's all about money. The reason healthcare organizations are so hot and heavy on screening all patients for influenza and forcing all employees (with few exceptions) to get the influenza vaccine is because they get more money from the government. Influenza is one of the measures of the Hospital Value-Based Purchasing (VBP) Program. VPB is a Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) initiative that rewards hospitals with incentive payments for meeting certain measures. My bet just like flu CMS will make covid vaccine a performance measure, and incentivize healthcare organizations to give it. And thus they will make it mandatory for all employees.
  7. Just wow... This forum has gone to the dogs....
  8. Their servile conformity to a patriarch construct takes our profession backwards to the 1950s and put public health at risk because nobody dares to ask questions. Physicians and nurses are being censored on all every platform for not towing the "official narrative". It's almost like some people are rooting to the virus, masks, lockdowns and a vaccine. It's like they have Stockholm syndrome and enjoy wearing the mask. If Fauci said that covid was transmitted in flatulence most this forum would be like:
  9. No, rhetorical as in "what if". Here is what Merriam-Webster has to say: Rhetorical Language vs. Rhetorical Questions Rhetorical has several meanings which are close enough in meaning that they may easily cause confusion. It can refer to the subject of rhetoric ("the art of speaking or writing effectively") in a broad sense, and may also refer to that same subject in a somewhat deprecatory sense ("given to insincere or grandiloquent language"). But perhaps the most common use of rhetorical today is found in conjunction with question. A rhetorical question is not a question about the art of speaking effectively; it is a question that is asked for effect, rather than from a desire to know the answer. “Would it kill you to stop chewing your food with your mouth open?” is a rhetorical question.
  10. Fauci does not see patient at NIAID -he is the director. It is a quasi-governmental organization rife with politics. So you the acts strait. "trying to damage the character of a prominent health professional" Cry me a frigging river. People have every right to point out conflicts of interest with public officials and Fauci is conflicted. NAAID has taken millions from the Gates Foundation. Gates is not a scientist but he has said things will never go back to normal without a vaccine. Gate's immunization programs in India and Africa killed thousands and left many infertile. https://www.armstrongeconomics.com/world-news/corruption/did-bill-gates-buy-the-CDC/#:~:text=Dr. Anthony Fauci has a %24100 million conflict, pledged %24100 million for Fauci to play with. " you end up looking like a partisan fool with no credibility. " It is YOU who is the partisan fool with no credibility. Here's what Fauci said in his own words about masks before he flip-flopped to appease Bill Gates and left-wing politicians:
  11. Don't ya just love Dr. Anthony Fauci, he has taken millions from the Bill & Belinda Gates foundation and hasn't treated a patient in decades. You really think he does not stand to benefit financially from this "crisis"?
  12. Or maybe crowding into stores on Black Friday? Here in the Buckeye State the Der Fuehrer (the governor) has lectured and lectured about "not more than 10 at Thanksgiving gatherings" (Christ would have been in trouble at the Last Supper). But NOT a peep about avoiding stores and crowds on Black Friday -go figure! And we have a 10 pm to 5 am curfew in place for the next three weeks. Much of this makes no rational or scientific sense. I am also sick to death of the stupid slogans & virtue signaling like: "Just be a good person wear a mask"
  13. It only stands to reason that flimsy cloth masks and bandanas that much of the general public wears can spread the virus. Because people constantly touch them with dirty hands and then breath in the germs -basic Microbiology. Even surgical masks are not a 100% guarantee. Much of the general public does not wear the masks properly. Wearing the wrong type of mask is like using a condom with a hole in it. We should instruct our immunocompromised patients to wear masks properly, to wear them if they have to go out; practice good hand hygiene and most importantly -TO STAY WHEN POSSIBLE. As for the rest of the general population, from what I can see mask mandates are a mute point. Name one virus that we have defeated by wearing masks -I'll wait.....
  14. What exactly are you trying to say. Just say it.
  15. The government is not saying vents are best practice. It was rhetorical -if they did hospitals would be pressured to use them even if they knew better.
  16. Sounds like a case of professional butt hurt for getting called out to me.
  17. Never said making a Youtube video was the correct response to malpractice. I said she had the right to make the video, I am sure your political affiliation is way left of center.
  18. Not for profit healthcare systems are in a tough situation they have to follow what the government deems "best practices' or they run the chance of loosing their tax exempt status. If the government says vents are best practice even if BiPAP works better physicians will feel pressured to use the vent. This how the opioid crisis started. The government started linking payments to patient satisfaction surveys and one of the domains was pain. So providers were writing prescriptions for opioids like candy. I think we are seeing a lot of this with COVID.
  19. After looking at a few of your posts it's pretty clear what your political affiliation is -that is the "like you" I reference. OK you you see an act of malpractice take place and you call 911 -you really think the police are going show up? Erin Olszewski had every right to make that video. You might not like what she has to say much she had every right to make. I doubt you even watched the video. She spoke out about the lack of PPD, the disproportionate numbers of minorities that died and other things that happened.
  20. Excellent post! I have noticed macawake makes a lot of assumptions about people and quickly jumps to conclusions. And you are spot on about him or her being part of the problem by being in denial about healthcare fraud. And being in denial about malpractice for that matter.
  21. Calm down and check your grammar. You are assuming people would make complaints. But you don't know the culture in CardiTeleRN's hospital, everyone may be afraid.
  22. Contact the police? Seriously? They don't police malpractice. What planet are you living on? She NEVER said COVID is was not real -she took care of covid patients. She also pointed out the disparities in how different covid patients were treated. "Antivaxxer" is a word used to disparage those who would dare question the ethics of the pharmaceutical industry or the safety or efficacy of certain vaccines. As RNs we should question things and think critically to advocate for public health rather than accepting the "official narrative". A lot of physicians and nurses are breaking ranks and coming out with similar stories. I love your last paragraph, and how you (predictably) close seeking a knee-jerk emotive response feigning indignation. Such a typical tactic employed by people like you.
  23. Very plausible. Healthcare organizations lost trillions of dollars as they halted outpatient services and elective surgeries. Here in the Buckeye State in the Spring we had empty inpatient units emptied out in anticipation of surge in COVID-19 cases that never came. There is even a presumed COVID-19 diagnostic billing code. It is all a game with CMS and insurers.
