  1. Follow your school's curriculum.
  2. Hello! Have you tried asking your school counselor? If not, have you tried HealthCare.gov? https://www.healthcare.gov/apply-and-enroll/how-to-apply/
  3. Hello! You should contact them to see if they processed your application. It happened to me with another university in Florida. https://www.niagara.edu/admissions
  4. Hello! Many schools nowadays conduct online classes. You must do your research. I recommend starting with your local community colleges and universities because you will not be able to take all of them online. Some may require laboratory content, which must be done in person... or show up in person to take tests. If you had mentioned which state you lived, I would've submitted a few examples. Good luck Daisy718!
  5. Hello LollaVsav, Do not give up yet. I had a hard time with Chemistry, but was able to go through Nursing School. Keep plugging in. Get all the help/support you need and move forward!
  6. Hello, Let's get something straight... RN is a license, while ADN and BSN are college degrees. Either degree will allow you to sit for the NCLEX-RN to obtain the RN license. Having said that, your educational choice should be to either have an associate's degree in nursing (prerequisites plus 2 years) or a bachelor's of science in nursing (prerequisites plus 4 years). There is no shortcut. Nonetheless, you can pursue them as LVN-ADN or LVN-BSN. The BSN will afford you a broader knowledge and job opportunities, but in this climate (with COVID-19 and all) you will have no problem finding a job. If you are serious about becoming a nurse and flourish in the years to come... I recommend you go the LVN-BSN route. Make up your mind about a Master's or Doctorate degree in the future once you have garnered more experience. Hope this helps!

  9. Hello Willvz, Did you know there is a Health Informatics master's degree? You may want to go that route to satisfy both your skills and vocation. 12. Recently, I gained employment with an organization which budgeted for a 6 week orientation/training program prior to have me work by myself. This period of time allows for both parties to assess each other and hopefully continue an employer/employee relationship for years to come. Unfortunately, I did not like what I saw and gave my notice on the fifth week. Since I was still on orientation, the employer and I did not see the point on continuing employment as I would be leaving soon; so they gladly accepted my resignation effective immediately. I do not recommend anyone to “ghost” employers, but be mindful of resignations during orientation, they may be deemed effective immediately. However, it’s better than no notice at all.
  13. Google: "Scrubs in my area" These stores should carry everything you need.
  14. Hello, I'm willing to take a look and give you feedback. I'm an RN, but not in the anesthesiology concentration, however, I have the best intentions. IM me.
  15. Hello. Do not aim for the minimum... aim for an "A"!

  18. Hello, You're supposed to be allowed two 15-minutes breaks and one 30-minute break on a normal shift. The reality is that you're lucky to get your thirty minute break. Having said that, your professor should not be depriving you from your 15 minute breaks.
  19. If you post your revised essay... I'd be happy to read it. :)
  20. Hello, English is not my first language, but I like writing papers. After reading yours, I am compelled to point out several things. It is my hope that you find them helpful. First off... essays are normally written in third person and you state your comments as facts. However, since this essay is about you, you must write it in first person. Nevertheless, it does not mean every sentence may start with "I" or that it should be used excessively. This is a challenge and one that should be worked on in order to write a great essay. Second... essays should have an introductory paragraph with a thesis statement and at least three elements to expand on. These elements are then addressed in separate paragraphs. Then, you have your closing paragraph, which wraps things up and restates your thesis statement. From what I gather, your three elements can be classified as: Healthy Lifestyle, Time Management, and financially ready. When you speak of your healthy lifestyle, you may expand that to your body, mind, and spirit (or soul). Do not be afraid of addressing this third aspect. When you speak of time management, you talk about your punctuality and being proactive in facing the unexpected (study habits, traffic, weather, etc) in order to always be on time. When you speak of being financially ready, speak of your current job and family support while on nursing school. Always speak in a positive light. Do your best to avoid negative statements, such as the very first sentence you wrote. You want to convey a positive image and positive thinking all the time. Finally, restate your three elements/traits on your final paragraph and restate your thesis. Your job will be done! Best wishes!
  21. Hello, Would this help? Google Scholar Best wishes!
  22. Hello, Do not get discouraged. Apply to other schools, don't wait out a year. Best wishes!
  23. Do exactly that. Make an appointment and bring copies of your unofficial transcripts to your school of choice (community colleges are cheaper). They will tell you exactly what you need to take or retake. Then move forward. Best wishes!
