Pregnant & in college?
I just found out I am 4 weeks pregnant. I start school around the 8 week mark. I am taking A & P this semester and I am pretty worried about it. I am only taking A & P and one other class which is online so that it won't be too stressful. However, I am 35 yrs old and already at a high risk. Should I attempt the classes or drop them?

A&P 1 & other classes? schedule look like too much of a workload?
I decided to be a part time student. I can receive financial aid but not as much. However, I would rather be without some money than to possibly make a bad grade.

A&P 1 & other classes? schedule look like too much of a workload?
I will be taking A&P 1 this Fall and I have added psychology 2301, BCIS 1305 and Philosophy 1301. I need 12 hrs for my financial aid. I am however, only planning on taking A&P in the classroom settings, all others are online. Any input would be great. I am a stay at home mom but my kids are in school till 4.

I made a C in chem 1406! What grades do I need to make in my other classes?
To get into my program I need at least a 2.75 GPA in chem 1406 and A&P 1 & 2. I made a C in chem. Obviously, I hope to make an A in my other courses but at what minimum would my grade need to be in my next 2 classes? Or will I need to retake the chem?

Can't decide RN or Social Worker
I am so lost right now! I am enrolled for A&P 1 next semester and I will have an awesome teacher but I am second guessing nursing as a career choice. I am not strong in the science department at all and made a C in Chem 1406. I took a step back and realized I am better at listening and solving people's problems. I also sat for a seminar that was a day in the life of a social worker and I felt drawn to the profession. However, I keep hearing nothing but negative about its job outlook, pay etc. I am 35 yrs old and I take care of my special needs son who is 16 and financial stability is important to me. Does anyone have anything positive about social workers? I have zero work experience! I have only worked one job in my life and that was McDonalds for 2 weeks. I have literally spent the last 17 yrs taking care of my special needs son which is another reason I feel I don't want to be a nurse.. I feel I have nursed someone for 16 years, I kind of want a change.

Not sure nursing is for me??
I am a pre- nursing student. However, I am having major anxiety with my major. I am 35 and most others around me are fresh out of high school. I barely passed my chem class with a C while many others easily made an A. Our program only takes 50 twice a year and is a hard program to get in to. I feel intimated and defeated and I haven't even got in the program yet. I am about to take A&P this fall and need to make a decision on if nursing is for me before I enter the class. I thought about switching to respiratory therapist as I know a little bit more in the area but honestly I am worried about any health major. I feel so lost and I can't confide in anyone. I feel so lost but one this is for sure I have no passion for nursing. I have taken care of a special needs child for 16 years now, I honestly don't want to do it for a living.
