Medical marijuana for nurses in Florida
Hi there, quick question, I was recently talking to one of colleagues that has chronic pain and is currently taking some narcotic pain meds and will like to come off the opiates and switch to medical marijuana due to the feedback of success with pain and I wasn't sure nurses are allowed to partake in this program even with a doctors order. Are nurses allowed in the state of Florida to partake in medical marijuana prescribed/recommended by a doctor?

Pearson took my money. Is there still a chance I passed?
I took the NCLEX on Friday 9/11/15, I went to PV and attempted to put my cc info in, changing the expiration date, it declines, I then saw a post that says to wait 24 hours, I waited 24 hours and repeated this and it declined my card again, the word, according to people is that even if u put the wrong credit card info in, it wouldn't matter if u passed, you'll still get the "good pop up, our records indicate......" So all this have to be mainly accurate if it's been 24 hrs or more since u ended the exam, sure enough, I paid for quick results on Sunday 9/13/15 and "Fail" so this thing is pretty accurate at least after the 24 hour mark, I know if someone that got the "good pop up" within hours after taking the exam and realized the next day on the Florida BON that she failed, she was devastated to say the least, I believe the 24 hour rule thing works, but as said, it's only a trick, maybe, there's a chance still, don't give up, check your Bon, it's week day, u might get your results already posted, and according the your poll results, one person passed after the 24 hour mark after being charged, I wish u all the best, take care!

Random Valuable NCLEX Facts :)
Hi there, took the NCLEX today and got all 265 questions, first, I got the results on hold page, I then kept checking and the hold is gone, now I attempted to put the credit card in changing the expiration date on a valid credit card and am getting declined status, am scared to say the least but I'll just keep my fingers crossed and be hopeful here, may be my second scoring may be pass, I'll wait 24 hrs and try again, I wonder if this works over the weekend. This is a very eye opening post, well put together and can alleviate a lot of anxiety and keep people from making mistakes, the one thing am not so sure of is the fact that people claim that if they actually pass, their credit card is not charged, don't know how valid this is when it comes to the so called trick.

Passed FCCA!
It usually says you have passed, it's a "P" rating, no grade but it tells you your score, its 60 questions and you need 42/60 to pass, hope this answers your question!

SG101 Need Help
Hi there, I used SG101 for all my EC nursing theory exams, didn't gave to do any of the pre-reqs through EC since I got them through a local community college, however, I suggest you start from the beginning of the items usually listed by topics( don't know how micro SG works in comparison to the theory exams) there's usually an outline of quizzes and or practice exams, the content guide is usually explanatory. I'll say start from the outline page and click on the items, sometimes they combine several chapters into one file. Open these files and click your way around. See if this help.

Throwing an idea out there.
Don't know, I guess it wouldn't change anything, as long as the nclex pass rate for Excelsior students doesn't reduce.

CPNE requirement

CPNE and pregnancy?
I am CPNE bound, looking forward to taking it in march and am seven weeks pregnant, I figured I wouldn't be too far along by then but then even if I was, like Pixie TN said, it's doable and JSRC, thanks for sharing, at least, we'll know what to do if we got as far along as you we're .

How did you get financing for the Associates Degree in Nursing program?
Not applicable to EC self paced nursing program, thats the disadvantage.

Throwing an idea out there.
Just my two cents here, I don't know about the preceptorship idea, sound pretty good but doubt if this would be acceptable by EC and BON, I just think the CPNE should be graded based on points instead of a pass or fail basis, I think this would be a whole lot better!!

CPNE requirement
Thank you, Ms Pixie RN as always.

CPNE requirement
Hi there, does anyone know if getting the flu vaccine a must for the CPNE? I am pregnant( about 6 weeks) and was wondering if it's a must or if I can opt out due to my condition, also, I always have positive ppd due to the bcg vaccine I had when I was younger, my last chest X-ray was done in January 2011, some institutions would accept one as old as five years, don't know what EC requires, please does anyone know? I really can't have no chest X-ray now because of being pregnant.

Save the date!
When you said payment plan, is this the EC nursing student loan? Or something totally different?
