My A T&T service/cell phone works well in Anchorage and the Matsu Valley and it is a pay as you go inexpensive phone.

Hello dear ladies, I am so inspired by all of you and am trying to get lined up to get my RN degree thru Excelsior. I am an Lpn and had a few questions? Do you take the classes/courses in order or don't have to? Are you finishing your general classes first or doing both? Can I get all the classes for the degree thru Excelsior or are there some that we can't get? From reading it seems you can only start classes in March or May (as far as the soonest classes) is that correct? Thank you for letting me ask some questions. I am trying to get this all seen about so I can start soon. Have a great day!

I filled out a FAFSA but then saw where you can't use a federal grant for the Associates in Nursing degree at Excelsior? Did you try to get scholarships or get a loan? I am a single parent so hope to find some financial aid. Trying to get that worked out so I can start soon. Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks everyone, We want to live in Alaska anyhow (been there). I guess there's no time like the present. I am a veteran so will check into the hospitals too. Going to check Alaska's BON now. I am SO excited about this option to get my RN degree! Congrats to all of you too!

Thank you everyone. Ok please dont think this an odd question but we have been considering moving to Alaska (been there love it). Has anyone from Alaska used this program? I will also look at their BON. I am an Lpn but haven"t worked but a year as a nurse. They are phasing out a lot of our Lpns here so want to go for my Rn. Ideas about how to go about this?
