  1. https://blexmedia.com/introducing-sir-idris-elba-receives-knighthood-from-king-charles-at-windsor-castle/ Arise Sir Stringer Bell. A bit of good news for a change.
  2. Seriously? More deflection? I know who Jon Fetterman is and even know what he looks like, but why on earth would I need to know any more about him? Again, I am over 3000 miles away, on a different continent in a different country. Tell you what, without googling it, tell me about the Scottish Parliament and give me your opinion of Anas Sarwar MSP. (Picked because he is well known in the UK)
  3. Not really, I have based my opinion on reading your comments so seems pretty clear to me. MAGA is as MAGA does, If it reads like MAGA then it's probably MAGA. I know who Jon fetterman is but know little about him, so asking that question is not really productive and you are deflecting and/or using whataboutism.
  4. Well from 3000 plus miles away you certainly appear MAGA. You have accused others on this site (including me) of having TDS, so if you spport him like that then you are MAGA. No arguments, no discussion, you are MAGA. From this distance there is no nuance, no distinction.
  5. Fair enough, if you say it was staged then I believe you. Thank you for that. I didn't say it was staged I said it MAY have been staged which is why Trump didn't react. But I won't argue with a self confessed MAGA.
  6. I have seen pictures that show Melania and the woman on the other side of Trump looking really scared when the shots rang out but Trump didn't flinch or move and looked quite calm. 1) This MAY be because it was staged and he was excpecting it, 2) He may have some hearing loss -he is old after all - and just did not hear the shots, 3) He may have mistaken what was happening - he is old after all. Being honest, neither one would surprise me. What does surprise me is that people are surprised that the most divisive president has made enemies.
  7. Absolutely true. The Royal Bank of Scotland notes :- £5 has Mackerel and on the front it has a picture of Nan Shepherd, a writer. £10 has Otters and on the front is a picture of Mary Somerville a mathemetician, scientist and astronomer. £20 has Red Squirrels and on the front a picture of Catherine Cranston known for tea rooms and as a patron of Charles Rennie Mackintosh. £50 has an Osprey and on the front a picture of Flora Stevenson a social reformer with an interest in education for poor and neglected children. The Bank of Scotland notes have :- On the front of all these notes is a picture of Sir Walter Scott but on the back are :- £5 Brig o Doon, a medievil bridge in Ayrshire. £10 has Glenfinnan Viaduct, made more famous by the Harry Potter films £20 has the Forth Bridge. £50 has the Falkirk Wheel and the Kelpies £100 has Flora Murray a medical pioneer and suffragette. We also use Clydsedale Bank notes £5 has a picture of The Forth Bridge with Sir William Arrol a Scottish Engineer on the front. £10 has a picture of Edinburgh old and new town with Robert Burns on the front. £20 has a picture of St Kilda a remote island with King Robert the Bruce on the front. If you go here it will tell you more about them :- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banknotes_of_Scotland For pictures of Scottish notes just Google Scottish Currency and select images. This will give you an idea about different sizes and different colours. I should add, that when in England it is always advisable to carry English notes as they can be a bit reluctant to accept Scottish banknotes despite them being legal tender. In Scotland however we accept Bank of England notes and also occasionally Bank of Ireland Sterling notes.
  8. This may explain Trumps constant changes to his dealings with Iran. Once a grifter, always a grifter. BBC NewsThe insider trading suspicions looming over Trump's presi...The BBC has found a pattern of spikes in trades ahead of public announcements by the US president.
  9. Now that sounds a bit like Socialism. 😉 Giving money to help others? By the way, do NOT lecture me on the difference between Socialism, Communism and Capitalism. I am in the UK and totally understand the differences.
  10. I thought that as well.😂😂😅
  11. Yes, not a great update, sorry moderators, but apparantly I am categorised as a "Newbie" and also have a "One Year User" award. It is difficult to find things and I have to use the "search" process just to see what others have written. The site is extremely unresponsive, it takes ages for it to load (and no, it is not my WiFi or my computer) and it just doesnt look or feel professional. Sorry but it really needs to improve.
  12. I was going to post this on Saturday but for obvious reasons I couldn't, so I will do it now. BBC NewsArtemis II splashdown: Astronauts home safely after journ...Four astronauts splashed down in the Pacific after a nine-day voyage that took them further from Earth than any humans.👏👏 This👆is what makes America great. NOT the MAGA stuff.
  13. Page 323 from January 23rd. Do you notice any disrespect there? Are you going to compare the missing capitals which I've already stated, were not deliberate until you commented, with this disrespect? Does it matter? If you're "barely bothered" I have to show you this YouTube clip. It is not meant in any way to be nasty and I hope you take it in the spirit it is meant - fun. ?? https://www.YouTube.com/shorts/Z_OQ9_To8zk
