  2. that's AWESOME,,,, Great Job!!!! I wish I can Say the same unfortunately I will be at it again in the fall.....
  3. AMAZING!! nothing can stop a believer!! :)
  4. Same here i missed mine by 1/2 point wich is very upsetting... But i am starting again from first semester this fall...it was very rough trying to get used to the NCLEX test style but i was too late figuring it out...a lot of ppl say second semester is harder i feel if i didnt make it thru first how am i going to get through the rest of them...i feel so dumbed down...but im trying to think positive..its the only way to get thru... Are you going to try again?
  5. I don't know about their LPN program but I heard that it is great. just as if you were going to a community college... very intense program ... but I did attend ECPI medical assistant program graduated in 2007. i know since then things have changed a little bit,, new instructors and maybe a new curriculum...I really enjoyed the program easy and flexible and I graduated top of my class.. But if you plan on going for nursing (RN) in the future I would do LPN...i wish i had did my first time around.... :)
  6. Hi, this is my first semester of the RN program and I need 5 points (im at 75.1% now) to pass with 80% which is a C. I have taken 7 tests and I have 1 left which is the final exam next week. The final is worth 30%. so I calculated my final average and I need to make a 90% to make my 80 to pass this semester. which sucks. it will have 100 questions so I cannot miss more than 10. That's scary. I struggled and tried so hard this semester and I finally think I got used to the "NCLEX style questions." which aren't really that hard it was hard to me because i suffered from anxiety but I managed to manage it and I feel better that I can pass these tests with no problem next semester. hopefully! but I want to know if anyone was or is in the same situation below average for passing and pulled your grade up on the last test or 2. I just need some inspiration that it can be done by hearing other people's story... that made it the last minute. thanks.......
  7. I had started August 15th and I will graduate spring 2014 I am still excited and looking forward for the up coming semesters....I already had 2 clinicals 3 more to go and 1 sim/lab, 6 more to go and 4 tests 3 more to go so far i'm at a C avg. which isn't so bad but I hope to pull that up and pass with at least a B at the end of semester :)
  8. and I said the same thing I would take whatever they offer me for LPN or ADN. But I would rather ADN. but i cant be picky. I was just so glad she called and offered the ADN...
  9. congrats! nursingstudentnc. I applied for RN as well and got a call on 4/17 and accepted the ADN. It was very competitive. I can't wait for orientation tomorrow 4/24....:w00t:
  10. @ skeewee...wow your score is great...i received my letter on APR 5...I was waitlisted..which is better than being denied... i called admission and she said that if the accepted students don't respond by the due date then they are going to call the alternates list in the order they are ranked...they don't give what rank number you are ...I just wish I knew mines...but its OK my fingers are crossed....did you get in?
  11. i had 45 pts...and was it out of 100? the highest a person can get....

  23. well good luck to you guys!!...for me i received my letter yesterday.I was too nervous to open it. So I let my daughter read it first....She had me all excited at first....so i read it...unfortunately...I have been rejected from the BSN program I applied to. It was a sad moment but I will get over it....I still have time....i have been trying for past 2 years now.... :/ i'll just keep trying until i get in..
  24. take them now!!! if you have time before u are admitted into an ADN program...this is exactly what i am doing. i have completely finished my prereq for my adn..and im almost finished with my prereqs for BSN....next semester (spring'11) im taking 4 bsn prereq..and then fall 2011 i'll be taking the last of my bsn prereq which is statistics...it is so much worth it..and better to take them now than sitting out a semester...and while waiting so long to be admitted into somebody's ADN program..... :)
