  1. How long does the Pearson Vue status normally show "ready for delivery". I still tried to re-register and I got a pop-up saying I already have an open registration. Is it just too early at this point?
  2. I would say you should not delay your test. Go over the Kaplan rationales today so you understand the concepts of what you got wrong.
  3. Aggg, I wish I could offer some advice but my test is on the 28th! I am curious what others have to say as well.
  4. Did you try the pearson vue trick? Lots of SATA could be a good sign! Good luck on getting a good result!
  5. Are you sure you don't want to check the PVT so you can relax?
  6. Congrats to all who have taken the NCLEX and passed. I am scheduled for Jan28. I hope I can add my name to the list. I got 63 on my Kaplan Qtrainer #6 and 64 on #7. I hope this means something positive. I am really getting burnt out on studying to hard and doing questions.
  7. I felt like the ATI predictor was much easier than many of the other things out there like Kaplan. I take NCLEX in a week though so we will see. I got a 99% prediction pass rate.
  8. Congrats!!!
  9. Maybe going to interviews with a nicer demeanor than the above comment may be a good place to start.
  10. YAYYY! Congrats to you!
  11. I chose learning EXT because I had heard good things about it and also because I really did not have the money to do a live review.
  12. I know there are several threads with this type of information but I am just curious. I am taking NCLEX in two weeks and have been doing the NCBSN learning EXT and Saunders CD/ book. Before I even looked at content I obtained a 67% on the EXT pretest, and am now getting an average of 70-80 on the post tests. On Saunders I am averaging in the 70% area as well. My school did ATI and got a 99% pass predictor score. How do you ever know if you are ready? My teachers have told me this test is the hardest thing in the world. To anyone who passed and did similar review do think I am OK? I have two weeks and plan to answer a minimum of 150 questions a day sometimes up to 250. I just want to pass and start my job next month and feel like I can never know enough, kwim?
  13. I have heard others say they liked it and passed. I am using it also and will test at the end of the month.
  14. Go back and review content that you are scoring the lowest on and keep doing the questions. You can do this!
  15. Abishag and BTW thanks for the information. I paid for all in October because I knew I would not want any delays. There were people in my class who thought they were to pay when they go to take the test- yikes!
  16. Thanks Abishag I am in the Winston Area and have a job lined up to start the first week of February. My biggest concern is missing that orientation start date. I am hoping Monday will be the day. Seems like nobody from my class has received them. Did you check Raleigh by any chance? I would be willing to go there too. Good Luck with your NCLEX and let us know how it turns out for you!
  17. If you don't mind me asking, what part of NC? Just curious because I am in NC too and everything was received for me on 12/23 also.
  18. I am waiting too! Mine showed everything was received by BON maybe 12/23. The rumor around here is that the BON takes vacation during Christmas and it may be held up more than normal. Not sure if this is true or just hearsay. I am anxiously awaiting since I have a job waiting for me.
  19. I agree, Saunders Comprehensive with the CD is the way to go!
  20. The last semester BY FAR was the hardest for me. (finishing this week) You need to bring forward all of your knowledge from previous semesters in addition to learning some new concepts.
  21. I hope to take the NCLEX in January! I already have a job lined up and three weeks until my final to graduate from my ADN program. Only problem is this semester is much harder than all other semesters. I am passing with a small cushion but it would not take much to put me over to failing. I have a test and a final left to make it and then I can take my NCLEX. I already took the ATI Comprehensive and got a 99% chance of NCLEX pass, this was at the start of the semester. We will take it again in a few weeks. Right now I just hope I am with all of you in January! We can do this!
  22. Oh my goodness, that sounds awful. We have lectures with powerpoint and do some case studies. Sounds like there is not an awful lot of "teaching" going on there.
  23. We have issues and trends which I have 100% in and our last nursing class. For some reason the teacher that does this class is making the tests significantly harder than the others we have had in the past semesters So much so that the majority of the class fails the tests. Looks like most of our class will not be graduating sadly.
  24. I am in my last semester of nursing school with only a month and 1/2 to go. We still have a test and a final left. I have always done well, but if my average moves 3 percent I will fail. I am so stressed. Financially, I won't be able to do the semester over. I already have a job lined up so I would lose that of course. A teacher has confirmed that over 1/2 our class is currently failing. All these people made it this far to fail in the last month?
