Cliffs notes for A and P. It's a big book and it kind of tells you what will be covered in each topic your professor will teach. I used it for review and the quizzes. It's not at all comprehensive but nice for quick reference while studying.

I'd love love love some notes for organ/bio chem. I'm taking that this coming semester.

Bones, cranial and spinal nerves, endocrine hormones, lymph organs. OH! And parts of the eye... when we did special senses I missed every single question about the eye.

I took a little break from the nursing school rush and now I'm back with a changed attitude for the new year. It's so easy to get down about this stuff when you know there are schools with waiting lists a few years long and soooo much competition. ...

No luck here... it's at least 2 semesters I hear. They don't wanna turn EVERYONE down but they only want the best I guess. What alot of people do is after they get their CNA, work that while they wait to get into nursing school.

So... I've pretty much screwed up on microbiolgy this semester (pretty much can only pull out a C if I'm lucky) and I need to retake it before I apply to pull up the C for the admissions... they only offer Microbiology next semester as an online cour...

I have an Iphone which apparently is the norm at UK. I've seen a lot of people with blackberrys though. The iphone has some nursing apps you can buy and download and if you have an online textbook you can access it from the web with the wireless on...

Forever... Depends on how many you need. Usually 2 years I'd say if you're starting with no college classes already taken. Mines only taking a year because I already have a degree in something else. Good luck.

I'm taking Organic Chem, A and P II, retaking Microbiology online and taking intro to nutrition online (which I'm taking as pass/fail). So it can't be any worse than this semester. (Which is A and P I, Intro Chem, Microbiology and another Physiology...

I have a degree in psychology and I STILL cannot remember where the cranial nerves are and what each does. I've had this material like 3 times now... there's just something about it. But yeah, our teacher told us that too so I can't imagine not ha...

Do all schools require an entrance exam? I have scoured the internet to see if UK does and can't find anyhting.

Ugh we got our second test scores and I got a 56%... better than a 48% I guess. And what's funny is she still tells me to have hope to pass with a C :lol_hitti: :lol_hitti: I'm so boned.
