  1. Congratulations to everyone who got accepted. West Philly or university city is more affordable. I myself live at spruce hill where lotta grad students live too. Some live at center Philly which can be expensive or take trains from suburbs. I have also met ones who travel all the way from NY. Power to them! The size of class varies depending on classes. The generic class which all students from different tracks have to take patho, pharm are 100-150. Because its also part-time and accelerated BSN students. The clinical seminar classes are smaller supposedly 20-30. Also if you didn't get interview don't fret because I got accepted without interview. Good luck!!
  2. I will be starting FNP program in fall and would love to connect with fellow classmates.

  16. Meli I thought this thread was helpful in preparing me for the exam like I didn't know some of facts mentioned in this thread and drugs seen on TV. Also shortcut patterns to memorise infection precaution and remember abt hyponatremia. I used MRS WEE, my chicken hez TB during my exam to remember infection control . I used saunders, kaplan, and one of my fren who took his test last year gave me cd for hurst review. I practiced questions from prioritization, delegation and assignment by Linda Lacharity,Candice kumagai from barnes and nobels with a cup of americano  . I graduated on May but started studying for boards from June. I used to do atleast 50-100 questions a day. Hope this helps a bit. We all made it though dreading nursing school and can surely rock this test.
  17. OMG I am RN now. :hpygrp: I just saw word PASSED in BON website but they don't have my licesne # yet since it takes atleast 24-48 hrs for them to update as per person in BON. Thank you everyone who has contributed in this thread and for being supportive when preparing for the test . You all are awesome and gonna rock this test!! :dancgrp:
  18. Wohoo Congrats :yeah:
  19. Same here took it this afternoon blue screen at 75.. this 48 hrs can't pass soon enough.
  20. I took my NCLEX this afternoon. It stopped at 75 questions,18 SATA, 1 calc which wasn't that bad, med questions some of which I haven't even heard of in my life. But there was one from drugs seen on TV from the thread we had. Lot of priority questions who will u assess first, legal and consent stuff and DONOT forget to review infection control had tons of those questions. I just had 2 ob questions. I was guessing most of questions:uhoh21: so can't say how I did until I know by 48 hrs. I kinda was hoping it would stop at 75 and it did. But when I came out then all those questions were on my mind the whole time and I started freaking out because I did some stupid mistakes. I just wanted to say good luck to everyone taking their test.
  21. Ok the rationale says pt from OR following left pneumonectomy for adenocarcionama no chest tube is required because after removal of lung there is no pleural space to put chest tube. I was also confused about this rationale and answer like you guys. so if you guys could give more insight and find info about this in medsurg book that would be great.
