  1. Maybe I can help you, I am a registered nurse here in my country and currently up taking masters in nursing as well, just send me a pm
  2. Yes, you need the CES first and you need to sit for IELTS. During my time, there's no CES and IELTS requirements, I guess you check with other states because New Mexico is costly for NCLEX application not unless you really want to be licensed there. Best of luck to you. -------------------------------------------------------
  3. don't lose hope, there's always a silver lining my dear... i graduated 2006, i reviewed for NCLEX, CGFNS, and IELTS. I passed all of them mid 2008. After that, I attended a training program in a governement hospital, after the program, took the pre-employment exam and passed, got interviewed and waited for their call, it took them almost a year to call me back. I started working June 2009. So you don't ever lose hope,

  7. Try to work in the province if you have a place to stay there. Turn overs on the province is very high..
  8. know the side effects of the drugs and the nursing implications, know that by heart...
  9. 1. Regarding ATI, I cant say because I didn't review in ATI. 2. I have 1 pedia question but was given an abnoral lab value and ask what will you do on the child, that's all... its not very detailed though... 3. YOu should know the infectious control of diseases and what instrument or equipment will you use... goodluck
  10. Try One System Per Day, that's what I did.... Saunders has a per system category.. I used Prentice Hall as well... I like Prentice Hall, the way they ask is a bit similar to NCLEX but kinda harder... Others tried Suzanne's plan but I think it's not available anymore... And have a study schedule.... Sacrifice this time....
  11. pass on my 2nd take... shut down at number 75.... had 10-12 select all that applies..... no computation.... during my first try, stop at 120 and just had 2 computations...
  12. congrats... see... never doubt yourself..
  13. My friend was petitioned by his sister so he's able to go to Dubai through sponsorship, thus, he can stay there for 3 months, unlike tourist visa, only 30 days. He went to Ministry of Health office there in Dubai already, not here in Philippines. These are the steps as far as I know. SCHOOL REQUIREMENTS 1. Go to your school registrar and tell them that you need your documents to be certified, authenticated, verified by CHED. They will ask for your original diploma and TOR so they can prepare the confirmation letter and certified true copy of those documents. Then you need to go go CHED and fill up the CAV form. PRC 1. Go to PRC with your original and photocopy of board certificate, board rating and PRC license and fill up a verification of documents. Hope that helps
  14. i don't know if this could help you but a friend of mine went there through sponsor visa. Before he went there, be sure your papers are ready such as red ribbon, CAV from CHED and other nursing documents. Their ministry of health there would allow one to take their exam as long as you have 5 months experience. My friend had 5 month dialysis training. He's an ER nurse there now. Regarding agency, I don't know. I heard most agencies here need that you atleast have 2 years to 3 years of work experience.
  15. my friend used the NCSBN but she failed, i think it depends on the person
  16. congrats, i pass also on my 2nd attempt....
  17. yeah, i agree, nclex ask you way too high or way too low than the normal lab values so just keep in mind the range
  18. sounds good.. goodluck... congrats in advance
  19. most of my friends are NCLEX-RN passers and it was the motivation factor for me since I envy them, I work hard for my exam
  20. I agree, pick one book and stick with it but your exam is near, just do Q and A to the computer and just read the topic on the book that you find most difficult with, that's what I did..
  21. 2 months, rigid review everyday
