Passed nclex-pn with 89 questions after being out of school for 2 1/2 years!!!!!!!!!
I finally did it! Being out of school for so long i just knew it was going to be ten times more difficult. But God got me through it (the habit of eating, studying and sleeping paid off to lol). I can finally provide a better life for my son and myself. I plan on going back for my rn so ill be set by the time im 25. Oh and a word of advice to applicants in ohio (im not sure if they do this in other states), you can find out if you passed for FREE. Just go to http://www.nursing.ohio.gov and click on verification (on the left hand side of the site). Go to lpn and rn license verification (scroll down the page, the words are in blue). Type in your name, and county and press search. If you passed, your license number will be posted along with when it expires. Good luck everybody and God bless.

MY RESULTS
Okay Im terrified. I took my NCLEX-PN on wednesday june 10 and on Friday I went on the nursing.ohio.gov website and clicked verification. (I was low on cash until I could pick up my check so I was just seeing what this could possibly tell me.) When I looked up my name the status says active and my credential says PN with numbers. Someone please tell me this means I passed!! Im too nervous to go on pearsonvue's website and really pay because Ive worked myself up to think I passed, and if I failed I dont know what to do! HELP!!!

Nclex-pn help!!!!!
This is the deal. I have been out of nursing school almost a year and a half & I still haven't taken my state boards. I still stay with my mother, but she lost her job, our house is now in foreclosure & I have a 5yr. old son & 14 yr old brother. Its hard tryin 2 save the money to take the state boards because every dime I have HAS to go towards someone or something. I swear I feel more like 42 instead of 22! No offense anyone. I've contacted my local job and family services, but they are no help whatsoever! Income tax season is coming up so I plan to use that money. However, I'm finding it overwhelming trying to study and prepare myself for the NCLEX. If anyone knows of great tools to help aide me on my quest to become my dream of a nurse, it would greatly be appreciated.
