for you all that don't know the United States Virgin Islands is a U.S. territory.They get social security cards just like us.They have all the same rights as we do,no paper work,or immigration needed,or passport to live and work here.OH my fault I should have said USVI,because there are the British Virgin Islands also,which is another country all together.Yes she does have tx license,thank you for your reply.By the way how are things in texas,use to live there,but it left a bad taste in my mouth,but the people where friendly,and they often spoke,something you don't get up north. Hello a friend of mine is leaving the Virgin Islands,and moving to texas.She is staying here with me,and my wife in our guess house for now,because she lefted her abusive boyfriend.she has family in the ft worth,and Arlington area where she will be staying.She is a LVN with 3 to 5 years experience,can some help with some job leads.There in that area,because career builder does not have much.A lot of employers don't advertise due to the cost.She will arrive at dfw on sunday nite the 18 of april.So please help if you know of any openings for a full time LVN.Please let us know by post or pm. you are right,if your from the projects in chicago and like to be fat as a cow to fit in down there.Oh and go back 20 years in progress.The only thing that has right in texas is cows,and horses.When I first did texas a friend of the family convinced me to do texas.I sounded good,but when I got there it was very diffrent,than the rest of the us,except for georgia.Trust me I know I was a travel nurse for about 10 years.That friend of mine we don't talk to this day for that texas crap.with freinds like that who needs enemies.

You being from Chicago,HMMM you might want to consider staying,or going to another country,that how bad it is.I have since gone back to wisconsin,and for my winters im here in the virgin Islands.the way it's going may not even come back to the mainland,because the weather is starting to suck all over in the states.check out group one,and the rest of the crap that goes on in that state.The driving,and the pay is crappy.just check it out,and see for your self.

texas I don't like at all,but its doable.no state taxes,cheap housing prices,decent weather,not like the virgin islands where i departed from,and going back to.The nursing here is good,but the pay sucks.the better weather is in houston,brownville,but I have no ideal what the job market is like.the places to work here is Parkland ,JPS,and Baylor Hospitals.Call payton o grady and try to get a travel assigment to come here or go to GA.

HI is there anyone out there that studied the weekends only,and passed EC test? if so how many weekends did you take to prepare for one test.The reason I ask is,because some schools have a bridge program of weekends only. THANK YOU FOR ANY INPUT

you can get REA from REA.com,amazon.com,or e-bay.Try those,the one with the disk is better to me,because you can take the practice test ,and be graded.Just like EC practice test,but you can retake them all you want. GOOD LUCK you will do fine.

I read REA clep prep on a monday and passed the test the next monday.I did read every day,took both practice test on the CD rom,that comes with the book.I ended up reading the whole book twice,and then reviewed the practice test.It was not that hard at all. GOOD LUCK

you have your license to lose, the agency has nothing to lose. I would call going in with agency, without any orientation suicide. Do not do it. It's not worth your hard earned license.
