  2. WELCOME to Quezon City General Hospital Medical Center... =)
  3. that's good.so your one of the new batch this coming week. Yes you will be expose to all units/ward of QCGH, you will work like a staff nurse without payment..actually if you have a good performance you can apply after or in the middle of training as staff nurse in personnel office, that's one of their basis for hiring a new grad.. well goodluck and see you there..uhhmm expect the unexpected...
  4. hello,,i think if you dont want to 'stock' in a long period of time in your house, it's better to consider to be a volunteer or trainee nurse atleast your still in the field of nursing, or work in different field like in callcenter and produce money for your self ... one hospital that i know is the qcgh in munoz, there is a Training program for 6mos, they are trainee not volunteer,as a trainee they also work like a nurse and after the training they can apply in the hospital if they want. i think they are open this july.
  5. Is it true, that you need to pay for your exam in St. Lukes?:icon_roll

My friend who is already there, told me that the place is nice for her because her co-workers and dorm-mates are Filipinos also..thrice a week they can go out or go for shopping in groups.
  9. yes, i think its true..i also heard that, and you can find the memo in some filipino nursing website...
  10. 10,000 for 3mos only,,OMG,,too high! the training in PGH will start in Feb, so you need to pass the req. before the end of month..it cost 8,000 for 6mos...well no choice here in MAnila, but if you will try in province, it's so easy to have a work in a hospital.. :innerconf
  11. i have a complete requirement in both hospital... i think they prioritize their own graduates...
  12. same here..I also passed my requirement to Capitol, i think nov last year, but no calls receive from them.. Actually even to some hospital here in Metro Manila, there are lots of applicants, I passed my req. in Manila doctors and my qualifying exam will be in 1st week of April., can't wait for that time...

  17. dr. carl balita review center is the former Saint louie review center.. uhm they focus in test taking style, i mean it's not like pentagon that have a pure lecture, in carl balita it's Q&A type of review..because of that, sometimes they did not tackle all lessons or watever about nursing.. and sir balita loves to sing hehehe... they are good in building the confidence of their reviewee... it helps me a lot hahaha for nclex', they said that Pentagon had 100% passing rate in nclex exam..
  18. hi.. is it ok to pass the requirements to HR, even without PRC license card?
  19. Hi,, may i know how is the interview in MMC? tnx
  20. I agree, in 4th year its 60,000 not included the bus fare,or anything, just tuition fee and misc...
  21. PCMC is different to Fe del mundo and to national children medical center/hospital... PCMC is located in q.ave corner agham road, near lund center of the philippines, while fe delmundo hospital former national children hospital located in banawe, near E.rodriguez and national children is located in E.rodriguez near trinity university... i think there is no dormitory near pCMC,aside from lung center dormitory but a room for rent, maybe u can find... you will need the regular things that a nurse must have, its SOP. and as i notice in PCMC,the student nurse i saw their is assigned in public ward only,,in pay ward there's no student nurses. Gudluck
  22. Thank you so much... do you know any school that have this kind of program? because some known school need a 1 year experience in hospital...
  23. hi,,Im planning to stay first and work here in Phil and it's also one of my choices to take some units of masteral, is it ok even im lack of hospital experience?
  24. we are in 2nd batch...It also printed in the ticket that it is "Free Seating", meaning first come first serve, and we all know at first that one guest only, and some of my friends are all alone because we predict what will happen and some my friends in first batch, they know that the ticket is "sold out" still they looking for it.. im not defending the prc but we should be open and see both sides, and in our opinion both party should be blame of it...we're not perfect :) move on...
