Dutifully noted, but at the same time, something needs to be done, waiting and waiting, decade after decade after decade, as we get sicker, sicker, and sicker, and alot of diseases, complications, and money could have been saved, if people were given preventative measures that could be used instead of having to choose between health bills and food bills, and then the problem gets worse, and worse, and worse.............Until ultimately people have to use expensive medical care that they cant afford, when all they needed in the first place was primary and secondary intervention....

I recently had an infection from scratching too hard (ecezma) and it was the most horrible thing ever, and yea I had to miss a week of clinicals for it

Clinicals most definitely, I learn better when I am doing something as opposed to just reading about it

I am in the same boat as you, I got a 59 on the first test and a 65 on the second test!!!!!! I realized I was not going in depth enough to understand the information. I assumed it was the same info as med surg 1, LOL, learned the hard way how it isnt!!!! MY advice, keep on going, even when you dont want to go on, keep on going. We are almost graduating, now is the time to keep fighting even when life sure isnt looking to cheery these days lol.

I personally would stay out of it. Karma comes around. Its easy to start making judgment calls and going out on a limb in the name of integrity. From what you have wrote, their is not enough concrete evidence to go with the dean unless she handed you actual details (Which of course is DEFINITELY different and would then be a more appropriate reason to go to the dean). Just make sure to not align yourself with the person, work hard, stay focused, graduate, and get that license!!

Not including clinical days usually 6-8 hrs depending on the workload for the day. I personally cant do all nighter's, my body and mind will reject all information learned. Now on clinical nights, sometimes if I have ALOT of drug cards sometimes 3.5-4 hrs, which I hate!! Once I get home I try to run to the bed lol

I konw how you feel, I got a C, passed the class by 1.77%. But some of my classmates failed the course. So in the grand scheme of things would you want a C or Fail the course...

Man that sucks, I really hate it that because I am not the best student it is going to count against me. When I graduate I will probably have a 2.5 GPA, I really hope they look at more then just grades as a new grad or I will be screwed...

The best thing to do is to offer reassurance and not be OVERLY critical when offering advice on some of the possible reasons as to why the student didnt pass. I even suggest allowing the student to vent since this is very hard to tolerate. I passed Med-Surg by 1.77%, so I was a nervous wreck when it came to finals time. And I hear some people in my class did not pass the course. So just being open, warm, and friendly will go a long way:yeah:
