thats about the most absolutely ridiculous thing I have ever heard of. If your facility wants to do drug testing, that's their deal, but you really don't need to be the hall monitior do you? Starting a rumor is ALWAYS bad, bad, bad.

I think it depends on what state you are practicing in. There are also some places that will only hire RN's (at least at the hospital I work for)
