BTP is break through pain. I agree with all the users in methods to teach the doc and increase the meds. Your the kind of nurse I would likwe to take care of my own family. GOD bless you.

The ENTIRE point to hospice is comfort care the bolus is for BTP, and I agree the dose should reflect need at all times. If there is no one near how will she get her BTP med's? The doc needs an inservice review. Hang in there you sound like a great pt. adv.

Don't give up you will be a nurse. I think your children must be very proud of you ,and when they see you studying and not giving up you are teaching wonderful study and work habits. You have every right to be sad, but know many people take it again and pass, so shall you! Iused three NCLEX books and an on-line study. Your in my prayers.

If you are waiting for results as an LVN, it can be 4-8 weeks. If you pass and pay the fee then they post your lic. some of my class mates had results in 3 weeks, however I'm still waiting ,3 weeks and 3 days. The board will not post for LVN quick results. Good luck!!:Crash:

Thanks for all your stories. I just have to hold my breath and open the one I get. At least I wont know for sure by the size. I have waited 3 weeks, took 85 q on the LVN test and I'm sick of my life being on hold for NCLEX results. I must remember I can handle all things from HE who strengthens me!!

:uhoh21: :uhoh21: :imbar As a student in the ER A police officer brought in a man who miss dialed 911 hung up and thought that would be the end of it, however the officer said when he knocked on the man's door he opened it saw the officer and slammed the door shut and ran out the back door in to the path of another officer. This guy was making his own drugs. Needed to have test before jail to find out what he was high on for everyones safty.

Please let me know if this is true a co;worker told me a small letter is good news and a BIG letter means you failed. I don't want to be afaird of the mail. Icall home and ask who ever is home to check the mail, now no one wants to check it and tell me if there is a big letter!!

Hi everyone and congrats to you who have passed! I took my test on the 11, and get sick everytime I go to the mail box and find no results. My boss told the entire co I'm waiting and that I had 85 questions so their sure I passed ,however my test was hard. Today in a meeting I asked everyone to please bear with me if I fail because I don't feel as though it's a sure thing and then I read from those who didn't pass and feel so sad for them. Why does CA make us wait so long? I felt good in school always doing very well, however after leaving the test center I thought WHAT JUST HAPPEND? How do you stand the wait? Thanks.

So sorry for your disapoiment, I know how hard you worked to pass nursing school.YOU PASSED NURSING SCHOOL and after you have reflected on the test, REMEMBER you PASSED NURSING SCHOOL and re-group set your plan to retake the test. Your true friends and co-workers will stand by you!! Your in my prayers.

Do they have a waiting list? I had to also complete several things to get into class and there was still a waiting list. Hope you get in, but call the school and ask how they pick the incoming students. For practice test, get a book with a cd and practice, there are many good ones to choose from. Good luck .
