I know latex is efficient in protecting your skin from viruses or bacteria, but does vinyl gloves provide that same level of protection? I know vinyl is cheaper material.

Thats interesting! I am located in Philadelphia and I know Wilkes is far up north, so they might not have sites to recommend in my area. It's really hard to find preceptors in Philly since there's so many schools & NP students here.
Oh okay, I see. Do they have a surgery rotation (like to teach you suturing)? I got accepted into their FNP program for the fall but I'm a little hesitant to go (pricey tuition & the thought of finding preceptors all on my own stresses me a lot)....

also sorry if this sounds defensive, I'm not trying to be. If what you said (greyhound & motel) works for some that's great. I was just trying to point out unfortunately it still won't work for everyone in really tough situations.
