$2 an hour.

no they don't

Our organization pays $3 per hour...more than charge nurse pay actually

No we do not get more as a preceptor. I think we should!

Yep, $4 an hour. And we totally earn it, IMO. It can be mentally exhausting at times!

$5.00/hr, plus incentives for 90 days, 180 days, and 1 yr of retention !

The nurses do not because it is in our job description to precept and educate, however CNAs do get $2 per hour to precept CNAs

No. We are discussing whether or not the preceptor should be called off if they are orienting someone.

We get a whopping 50 cents/hr for precepting.

No incentive. We're all expected to precept any new staff that may be working with us that shift.

Teaching Institution.

It's an expectation, and the clinical ladder (with increased responsibilities), increases salary in 10% increments.

The RN does get a lighter assignment while the preceptor and orientee are working together
