5 occasions where IV therapy needs two checker?

let's see how many I can remember...Heparin, Insulin, Potassium, diprovan(?),dobutamine(?)

in my hospital-

Magnesium, Insulin, Heparin, TPN (only if it has insulin in it)........ Maybe TPA is one? I'm not sure, since I've never given it.

We don't double check for any Diprivan or vasopressors though. Those 4 are the only ones I can think of.

We never check heparin, TPN or potassium with 2 ppl. We do check blood products with 2 nurses...

4. Narcotic Drips (Fentanyl, Morphine etc)

The only thing we double check are blood products and PCA syringes (on my floor, not sure about other specialty areas).
