Dec 15, 201510 yr Does anyone have their master's degree? I would get a pretty sizable pay increase if I got my master's, but I would want to get it in school nursing and it is difficult to find such a program.
Dec 15, 201510 yr same here, Far. I think about it. then calculate the astronomical cost, minus the 2500 per year in degree assistance that we get (which wouldn't get me far and realize that my increase in salary would only be about 4k per year before taxes and increases on my payments on my medical. Plus i still have college to save for for the short person in my house -that's priority
Dec 15, 201510 yr No. Nor do I plan to. I have my moments, but then I get over it. Me too. I am thinking about trying for the national certification, though.
Dec 15, 201510 yr It would not increase my pay at all. Nor does going back to school interest me. So, nope!
Dec 15, 201510 yr Nope. Not with two I already paid for college for and one more to go. Can't justify it. I plan to stay in clinical nursing for the duration, so i would be wasting time and money, IMO.
Dec 15, 201510 yr if i could get a masters in something really fun and have it count (plus have it be paid for) like get a masters in puppetry or something i'd probably seriously consider it. I am outta here when i hit 55 and i am always thinking of the "afterlife"

Dec 15, 201510 yr I am currently working on my bachelors so I can then do a certified school nurse program. That will be a big bump in pay.
