Okay, call me a goody two shoes.....never drank until I was legal, never been drunk except once when I found out ex was cheating on me, never did street drugs. I just went into the visitor's bathroom (employee one was in use) and someone had just been in there smoking pot! Getting a bit of a headache.

Enjoy work! LOL!!!!!!!! NO I am just kidding. I would report that to security pronto.

I was a nurse who did volunteer medical aide at outdoor concerts and this was a constant! I too was a goodie two shoes, and wow...hit me hard the first concert I did...LOL! Tweeked me out, what if I had to take a UA the next day or something! So I figured I would report it quickly just in case (I told my managers that knew I participate in this and this is a risk)...so reporting it is a good CYA as well!

Don't get the munchies! LOL!

Yes, I reported it! Engineering manager (also our security, don't laugh!) and my manager happened to be in the hallway so I told them.

Um......why not munch?

Um......why not munch?

Because people will think you got too close to the source and breathed a little too deeply, LOL!

Thanks for letting me horn in on your exchange. It's too funny!

I really wasn't a goodie two shoes.

But I would like to think that I got all that crazyness out while i was young and dumb and didn't have anything to loose (or so I thought) or could loose (also a delusion)

Ah think of the upside of nursing. Just when you think you've seen it all.............keeps the job interesting anyhow. :)

Pot stinks. Smells like burning tires.

I can't believe (well yes i can) anyone would be stupid enough to smoke it in a visitor's bathroom. That's just asking to get caught.

Tazzi,

this remonds me of the time I reached under the sink to get a pt belonging bad and found 3 empty beer cans. We debated all night long whether they were left by a patient or staff member......;)

Adds new meaning to cough and deep breath! ;)

Years ago when I worked in surgery, we had four second-floor OR suites that were not used during the weekend (they were used for plastic surgeries and eye surgeries during the week) and the rest of the suites were on the first floor. One Monday when a nurse went into a storage room on the second floor, she found seven empty beer cans, the remains of two joints, a plastic bag with weed residue, and two condom wrappers! SOMEONE was having a little party up there apparently! Unfortunately, since the storage room was outside the suites, there were no cameras recording the area.

LOL

Marijuana tends to give people a raging case of the 'munchies'........after smoking it (or even inhaling it secondhand), they get hungry and start chomping on cereal, crackers, popcorn, nuts, almost ANYTHING in sight---especially if it's crunchy! In fact, that's why Marinol was developed---it helps increase appetite in cancer pts./AIDS pts. etc.

Not that I personally would know anything about this........ahem.........;)

at least it wasn't the housekeepers and nas. when i worked in boston, the ancillary staff spent most of the shift in the linen closet smoking pot!
