I need a Miracle !

i start my last nursing class in two weeks. after completion of this class i'll be able to attend my pinning ceremony on july 22, 2009 ( wednesday). :yeah:

one problem though... i can't afford to pay for this class. i need to come up with 760.00 in two weeks. to top it off i also resigned from my job and my last day at work is in two weeks also.

i did the right thing and applied for a loan increase a few months ago but i found out this week that it never went through. :sniff:

i cried and prayed and cried and prayed and i have faith that some way some how i'll be blessed with the money to attend my last course before pinning. i've passed every nursing exam up to now and i can't bear the thought of not being able to finish just because of lack of finances.

i'm currently in good spirits because i know god will come through. he haven't allowed me to get this far to not allow me to make it. i just want to encourage others as i encourage myself.

this too shall pass. i'll keep you all updated. :D

Do you have any family who can loan you all or part of it? Will the school allow you to pay in increments? How did you get this far without planning for that last semester? I wish you luck!

I would check with your bursar's office and see if you can do a payment plan. Also check with you financial aid office. Sometimes they will stall your bill while they are applying for a loan for you. That is assuming you are at a college. Good luck!

Sell it All,

I know exactly how you feel. I'll be starting an LPN program in the fall, but in order to do that I have to make huge sacrafices to pay for school. I work full time, and I just got a night job. I'll be moving my family out of our beautiful home june 1st ($800/mo rent) and moving into a tiny 3 bedroom ($550/mo) until I complete school. This moves is costing more than I anticipated, but I need to make sure that I have fall tuition. Last night I decided that I will have to sell my living room set. It's an amazing set and I never thought that I could part with it, but I need to go to school desperately so, Everything must go.

Look around your home, there may be treasure there. 42" TV? Excercise Equipment? Dining room set? Yes you may go through the next semester with a bare home, But you'll get a great job and be able to replace those things easily. Have a garage sale, if family members can't help with $ ask them to donate an item or two for the garage sale. Maybe they have excercise equipment or an old TV they can contribute. GL to you.

your future is completely in your hands. instead of crying and praying, you need to hit the pavement, sell things, tutor, deliver pizzas, whatever.

Yes, it is definitely time to get on the grind.

All of my praying ( and crying out to God) paid off ! I had three miracles today.

1) I called the PNC loan place today... poored my heart out. The rep. took extra time to look inside my case and he said my Loan should be dispursed May 22, and my Class starts May 28th. !!!

2) In two weeks I'll be quiting my Job and had no idea where I'll get a source of income from. Today, I got two calls and set up two interviews for part-time/flexible jobs for the end of this month !

3) Un-expected check in the mail. Apparently, I was overcharged my a company ( had no idea), and got a refund from my overpayment.

God is Great !!!!

I did my best and God did the rest. And I'm just crazy enough to believe it !

Prayer and faith works !

Good for you!!! Sometimes when things look the worst, a prayer can move mountains.

Glad to hear your good news!!!
