How long have you been here?

I know the member since shows in the corner, but many of us lurked here long before posting. So how long have you been here??

Also, I had a different screen name years ago and forgot all the info associated with it. I was StudentSandra in 2001 when I started nursing school. Don't know how many posts I had back then and had even forgotten the screen name until I saw it listed under the student stickies.

So I guess I've been here on and off for 10 years....

You???

Signed up first time I visited in 1998. I have the same name but allnurses was called something else back then.

Started lurking in 2000 when I was in LPN school. I didn't register until after I got my RN license in 2003. :nurse:

The date in the upper right hand corner is incorrect. That is when I became a premium member, which I later let lapse.

I lurked around for one or two years before joining. I always wonder what happened to a lot of people who posted regularly and whose posts I looked forward to seeing. People come and go.

I had another account back in 2002. I forgot my password and no longer had the e-mail account I used when I signed up. It was just easier to start a new account at the time.

Oh, and I know my password for this account and don't rely on the computer to "remember" for me. Next thing you know your computer develops a case of the blue screen of death and you lose everything, including your stored passwords.

Ha! I lurked when I was in school. I've been registered since 2003

I remember I started lurking right after I had my son in June 2007...it took me six months to finally register and make it official.

Funny you should ask -- I'm an on-and-off poster who just wandered back here a few days ago. According to my profile I joined in September 2007, but I started nursing school in 2001 and began lurking shortly thereafter.

There aren't many sites I'm still checking after 10 years, this must be a keeper!

I'm not on here much anymore due to overtime shifts and required(involuntary) shifts(never know if you're in for 8 or 16-hr shifts; management does whatever they want to you despite our union contract)On and off since 2003; member since 2004. Still can't believe it's been THAT long!

I found AN when I was looking for info regarding staff/patient ratios. Google led me here (good doggy, Google!) and I joined up immediately. :)

Started lurking months ago and joined this month!

I've been here since February 2005, which is the same month that I ended up joining as a registered member. I never really lurked on these forums before joining.

I was an unemployed student in an LVN program when I first joined. These forums have seen me assume the role of an LVN student, then a working LVN, then an RN student, then finally a working RN. These forums will continue to be with me as I expand my horizons by pursuing a BSN degree and beyond. :)
