Harsh nurses

What is up with having to be a ***** to get respect as a nurse or a student nurse? Honestly during school the teachers are the biggest scum bags on planet earth. I dont know why I even wanna go back to redo my last semester.. yes I failed because a big shot clinincal instructor has that sort of power no matter how hard working and safe you are. I mean surprisingly on the floor I only met two evil nurses and the rest were excellent... no problems w pts. All of them we amazing even the one who threw a washcloth at me. Lol.. but really its the instructors! Arent they the ones not able to work floor anyways? Its obvious cuz they make half as instructors. Gosh I cant get over it. If I dont do something about it I will literally explode

    That's the mobile glitch it does a search that includes any part of a user name.

    Thanks for clearing that up. I was trying to figure out why someone going to FNP school who already obtained their LPN would be back posting on an LPN board but stranger things have happened.

    My apologies to the OP for thinking you could have multiple personalities.

    Binzy, FYI when you change your screen name we can still see ALL of your posts before you changed it... In your case 3 times

    Possibly a full moon.....These posts are from 3 different people. The posts are for 2008, 2010 and 2012. The members you point out have not been on the site in 4 years.

    Members who have changed their user name will have two red !! marks by their name. They are also from 3 different demographic area. The names are similar...it is easy to get confused.

    Every time I read some of these threads, I think I must have went to the one program in all of the United States (and Narnia) that had good instructors. Were they hard? Yes. Harsh? Sometimes. But only when it was important! It does suck that you are having these issues, but your attitude does not help your situation. I hope you take the time to look at yourself and figured what you need to do. If so many people in your school and hospital are "nasty" enough that it makes you question going back, you either need to grow a tougher skin, or not go back and miss out on what you want.

    I am horrified at the quality of students who are being permitted to graduate from my alma mater. I have worked with three new grads who should never had graduated. No inter-personal skills, no initiative, no interest.

    But then all nursing students are perfect and all floor nurses are *******.

    I DO trust you and as a matter of fact I was waiting for you to pop on and straighten this out... After I posted my next thought was that a moderator could see what we do not have access to? I'm elated that OP only has a chip on their shoulder and is NOT a compulsive liar! The first situation is much easier to fix;)

    OP- sorry for the confusion. I hope someone on here can get you to see that you are not in control of your emotions... Remember either you control your attitude or IT will control you.
