    Happy Holidays to all. I am working Christmas day so we

    will be celebrating with friends and family tomorrow. Spent the day doing some shopping and making tamales. Should do one more batch but we will see as I just kind of want to veg right now.

    I've actually gotten in this strange habit of saying, Happy Holidays!

    To me, the sentiment is there though. Merry Christmas! :)

    Merry Christmas implies this is a christian holiday. Not everybody is christian. December 25th was originally a pagan holiday, celebrated because the ancient astronomers could ascertain that the sun was not sinking forever.
