Grading scale for Nusing school???

Our grading scale is insane. Need 96 to get an A, 94 to get a B...85 is a C- and 80 is failing.

oh my goodness! thats rough, ours is pretty easy i guess... everythings normal (90 for an A... etc..) except a C- isnt considered passing...

100-90 = A

89-80 = B

Also for the other post by this user "What is your final worth?" Our finals are worth 30% of our grade.

92 to 100 is an A

85 to 91.9 is a B

80 to 84.9 is a C

Anything below a C is not considered passing.

90-100 = A

75-80 = C

below 75 fail.. no rounding, 74.99 and you are out

Im not exaclty sure of the grading scale, but I do know that I will have to keep at least an 80% or your out. I have been told that they will not round up, even if you have a 79.9%...I don't start until August so wish me luck!!!

73-76% = C

73% is minimum required average on exams before any other course work is factored into final grade. And what's crazy is that my class' average is right around a C+.

below 75 is fail and they dont round, 74.99 is failing, i should know i failed a course my first semsester with a 74.79 and know ppl that got kicked out for failing ith a 74.90 it happens.

But I taught my school was hard, this is kind of an eye opener

No rounding up to a 80....pass or you fail.

I don't know the cut off for As & Bs, but at Edison College anything less than a 77 is failing and there is no rounding.

Same for our school 76.99999 is failing.

We have to have 845 points out of 945 to pass with a C.

That is basically an 89% if you do the math. A lot of our points come from just going to class and completing things we were told to complete. But we are only allowed to miss 100 points total, so if you miss a clinical, you lose 20 points every time...
