Glasses - Life Hack

Saw a comment about fixing glasses and figured I'd share more openly:

The twist-ties from the produce section of grocery store? Grab a few.

You can scrape off the green/yellow/red part around the wire, so you have a whole bunch of segmented wire in a drawer.

Screw fall out? Never fear! Thread the wire into the holes and give it a few twirls and voila! No voided warranty - no headache from staring at the tiny screws for 10 minutes, no trying to hold that teeny tiny screw and screwdriver, and Little Darling can still stay the whole day and see!

Let me know if you end up using it!

The trick I learned from this forum was dental floss to thread through until they could go get a new screw! Works in a pinch!

Love this one too!

I did that last year after struggling with an itty-bitty screw for way too long!

Dental floss is my favorite fix!! My aging eyes appreciate the easy use :) :)

I've used safety pins!

I may have shared that pearl!!

*GASP!* Thank you! I shall do that!

I've been using dental floss, but I just heard today that you can use a paper clip! It is probably a little more unattractive, but it allows for full use of the hinge.

I love that we are such MacGyvers!

You can also use pierced earrings in place of a screw.
