Who else had kids going nutso yesterday and today because of the full moon? At least that's what I'm blaming it on...
(Was that approved use of an ellipse?)

Traffic in my office has been slowing down. I think word is spreading that the new nurse does not let people linger in the office :)
The ellipses look fine to me. I'm wondering what Far's take on the oxford comma is...?

I had a crazy day yesterday...didn't know it was a full moon. But now I know to watch out for them!

LOVE the Oxford comma! It makes me feel happy, peaceful, and content.

All is right with the world.
My kids have not been crazed this full moon, but their nurse has been a bit off.

33 sick visits, 6 medication visits and about 25 screening visits. I had a sub in with me today (I get her 3x a year to help me with screenings) and it was still nutso. Then I got the "We are coming to audit you" call. Yay.
Oh, then there was the mom that went off on me because I don't give her kid daily albuterol. She feels that because he is so "severely asthmatic" he can't understand when he is having an attack so he needs to have his inhaler daily. He does not have a pulmonologist. He has an asthma plan that says to give him the inhaler if he has any S&S of asthma attacks - wheezing, SOB, tightness in the chest. She instructs him to come down daily for his inhaler. If he comes, he gets it. If not, I don't give it to him. In 2+ years, he has never had 1 asthma attack in school. He has never brought in a doctor's note stating he's had an asthma flare up. But the mom screamed at me that no other nurse ever gave her a hard time about daily inhalers. I tried explaining that it's emergency medication; his daily med is pulmicort. She went right up the chain of principal, superintendent, etc to complain about me. Luckily, his doctor's office confirmed that his albuterol is not supposed to be daily. But she still feels that her 9 year old is unable to determine whether his lungs feel tight or wheezy. I have kindergarteners that can tell me their chest feels tight.
Did I mention this kid is in our G&T program?

After 3 decades working night shift, I give no credit to the full moon. I've had nights that were wonderful with the night almost as bright as day with snow on the ground and I have had horrible nights with the night dark as pitch. Sorry you are having it rough right now.Hope today is better.

Full Moons, Weather Changes, Community Events all seem to affect my little darlings. (My Super being here does also)!! Yesterday my super was here every one of our little darling FF showed up. She said they must be down here all the time, haha. Every time I am visiting your school they come.

I feel like the last two weeks have been crazy. Can the full moon last two weeks?

Can we blame the moon for the already crazy parents being even crazier!?!?! Kids here are about the same but the calls from the parents are mind blowingly crazy this week!
I got a call from a parent who called me a liar (several times) because her child told her I did something I didn't.
Just because you messed up in the care of your child doesn't mean that you get to blame me!

No, I refuse to believe that one of these snowflakes would lie.
