Full moon

Who else had kids going nutso yesterday and today because of the full moon? At least that's what I'm blaming it on...

(Was that approved use of an ellipse?)

No, I refuse to believe that one of these snowflakes would lie.

Well, maybe if mom had taken the kid to get evaluated for a concussion after the head injury 3 days ago we wouldn't have to worry about if confusion is a symptom of the possible undiagnosed concussion from 3 days ago!

After 3 decades working night shift, I give no credit to the full moon. I've had nights that were wonderful with the night almost as bright as day with snow on the ground and I have had horrible nights with the night dark as pitch. Sorry you are having it rough right now.Hope today is better.

Despite your experience, and the fact that there is no evidence to support the full moon theory, you are WRONG.

I work with others who would state that it is VERY true. I always see the glass half full, I am annoyingly optimistic.

I always get super emotional on a full moon. Or super hyperactive. I've always found that to be strange

I've seen it....... New moon or full moon.... It's crazy. I've worked ER, OR and now LTC.....

I had a parent calling me a liar because her kid said she was in the clinic when she was not. She started cussing me out and saying I have my daughter on the phone and she is right in front of you. Turns out mom called the wrong school. Did she apologize when I figured her mistake. No, just said one final expletive and hung up on me.

FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY!!!

I mean, really. Would this occur during a Waxing Crescent moon? A Gibbous Moon? I think NOT.

I don't know about school nursing but when I worked Acute Psych the full moon was always a very busy time especially when it was waxing as opposed to waning. Also the new or Dark moon was kind of crazy as well . One of the Doctors I worked with there told me it's where the term Lunatic came from. He also said it really doesn't matter if we believe in the power of the full moon because the patients believe it.

Hppy
