Tomorrow is opening night of Tommy. I am so nervous.

I had a good time meeting SM's friends. They were doing a video game night and I was just hanging out. Leisurely, coffee fueled morning. He came over for dinner last night and met my kids. They were very excited to meet him (I have only introduced them to 2 or 3 guys that I've dated over the last few years) and they liked him very much-- he is pretty darn charming :) He liked them too.

Today is FRIDAY and our LAST DAY!!! Woo-hoo!!

Students are here for 4 hours and at 3:15 I will leave a dust cloud in my image as I bolt out the door!

this is the earliest we have ever gotten out! We started really early (Aug 18th) and no emergency days used (unusual in Chicagoland).

9 days left for us, and the last 3 are half-days!!

This is our last Friday of the school year.

Have 4 days next week, then 3 days the following week!!!

We are done next Friday!! Five more days! I'll join some the the staff on the last day after the kids are gone for a brew to celebrate and then we have a staff breakfast next week, after that I"m avoiding teacher type people for 2 months.

On June 2nd I will be singing One Day More from Les Mis.
