False accusations

A female nurse accused me of threatening her and ultimately I was suspended with pay. The crazy part about this situation is that this nurse worked with agency and was mad at me for turning her in for not doing doing any treatments or charting. In the end I still have my job, but what do you guys think of this.

Some agency nurses snuggle up good with management or vice versa, more so than their own staff. Works great they can fill in and management won't need to hire enough in house help. How wonderful. No wonder they sometimes get so full of themselves!

I could go on and I started to but deleted. Not worth the time or energy right now, maybe in 5 minutes or so! Maybe never. Just watch your backs with some of this so-called help.

I worked as one myself for years but never had the nerve to do the stuff I saw this one do! I hope she's got some paybacks by now and maybe learned a lesson or two!

How did she know it was YOU that "turned her in"?

The suspension will haunt you and you job is at risk. Get a lawyer.

Women are still rarely believed for coming forward about male violence and men are still rarely held accountable in a court of law. Get real.

We're getting one side of the story here everyone. Do not forget that.

Blech.

For clarity, that's 'blech' to your comment and your lol at your comment. I can think of absolutely nothing lol-worthy about "that big feminism thing going on right now."

I think it is foolish for exposing this in a public forum when it could be traced back to you.

What a unique way to try to make half the population feel petty for wanting basic respect.

Wow calm down y'all my comment was supposed to be a joke. Good grief. Yet I'll tell ya, of all the people I've ever worked with it's the women that are nasty. Not the men. I'd work with men all day any day.

So you insult women, claim to be joking, and then insult women in defense of your joke?

Interesting.

I am a woman. And I have a right to say women can be butt holes just like you're being Double helix. This is why I have come to hate allnurses. People are so hateful. Im leaving this thread. Good bye.

The fact that you're a woman makes your comments worse, IMO.

Sorry it's been a few days since I've logged on. But I'm now working 11 to 7 shift at my facility. It's not going so great. I get this weird feeling that people are watching me and judging me based upon what had happened. My reputation has been destroyed by this so called accusations. I do believe that it was retaliating against me. Honestly I'm just living it all behind and looking else where for a new job and fresh start. Somehow this kind of situation really puts you down, quite depressing to be honest. But I keep reminding myself of what kind of person I am, and why I chose to be a nurse. Also Idk who to contact for advice.
