Earlier this month I made a post asking about my chances of finding employment in PA or NY as I was striking out here in NC. I took everyones advice and resumed searching closer to home instead of stretching outward into those tough markets. I worked diligently and doubled my applications to 80+. Now I'm glad to report that I received a job offer. In fact, this job offer is from one of the places I interviewed with prior to my last post but didn't think I nailed the interview sufficiently to get the job.
I'm posting this not to brag but to bring a sliver of hope to those who are starting to feel despair.
