CSN Spring 2011 RN Program

Good Afternoon All!

I thought it was about time to begin a thread for those applying for entry into the Spring 2011 RN Program at CSN. My big question is: Will you be applying to the full-time or part-time program and with how many points? It might also be nice to get to know some of our (hopefully) future classmates! I am applying to the Full-Time program with 29 points. Will that be enough? I sure hope so!

Good luck to everyone and I look forward to reading your replies!

Is the 275 and the 58 the number of students who actually applied?

Yes that is the total number submitted. Not sure how many of those actually qualifies. They dont tell much else. I think they like to keeep you in suspense.:lol2:

Ok i just emailed her and asked her what the cut-off for the points were. But she said they arent sure yet because they havent finished making their selections.

@wilneka, thanks for all the info! Just waiting patiently for the phone to ring now

I emailed them last night and got pretty much the same response. The only thing different was that she told me 68 applicants for part-time. I suppose we should just take things with a grain of salt until we get the call. :)

Good luck guys and gals,

I was in your position a year and a half ago before being admitted to the part time track. I am in the OB section now with 3 more to go. This is going to be the most challenging, rewarding, and aggravating experience of your life.

For those that make it in congrats and for those who don't keep applying.

Teachers you want are

Ragnone, Hackie, Labarr, Antonella, TiwaMediae. To name a few STAY AWAY FROM "COONS" In Pharmacology consider yourself warned. If you think your proud and the best and want a challenge fine take her, but do not cry when you fail and have to reapply to nursing school and waste an entire year of all the hard work for you to get here.

Good luck classmates

Thanks for the tips VegasEMT.

Do you have any other tips on studying, the program in general, etc?

Thanks EMT!
