CSN Spring 2011 RN Program

Good Afternoon All!

I thought it was about time to begin a thread for those applying for entry into the Spring 2011 RN Program at CSN. My big question is: Will you be applying to the full-time or part-time program and with how many points? It might also be nice to get to know some of our (hopefully) future classmates! I am applying to the Full-Time program with 29 points. Will that be enough? I sure hope so!

Good luck to everyone and I look forward to reading your replies!

Based on previous notifications, I think we will hear the week of Oct 25th.

That is so far away! Perhaps, if I blink once, it will be the 25th. (-_-) ....Rats! It didn't work.

Ovaray,

Thanks for the info. What type of questions is on the test for D&C. Is it the type of Q's in math 100B?? I heard the books are outragiously expensive in the first semester, is that true??

I'm getting really anxious too... That last week of October just needs to come sooner.

We should be finding out if we made it very soon!!! :up:

The wait is Killing ME!!!!

I went to the health sciences advising center today because of something for my financial aid. I was talking to the lady and she said that they're making selections on the 21st and they're sending out letters the last week of October, first week of November. I didn't think to ask when they would actually be making calls.

Anyways, it's getting super close! I can't wait. :)

I've heard that the students that they accept receive a phone call and those that aren't accepted receive a letter in the mail. Is that true? cause then I'll need to make sure my phone is by me at all times next week lol

I am completely discouraged :crying2:. I have been reading all the posts about the part time track and it seems that the minimum points are 28 or so. I applied with 26. I wanted to apply for the full time but thought it would be best for my family to do part time. Seems like I won't be getting in :sniff:

I'm pretty sure those that get in get phone calls...at least that's how it has been. I wouldn't worry about it too much. I had a friend get in last spring and they left a message on her phone. :)

good luck everyone, we should know very soon. excited.

ugh, i hate waiting. huhu:crying2::crying2::crying2::crying2::crying2::crying2:
