CSN Spring 2011 RN Program

Good Afternoon All!

I thought it was about time to begin a thread for those applying for entry into the Spring 2011 RN Program at CSN. My big question is: Will you be applying to the full-time or part-time program and with how many points? It might also be nice to get to know some of our (hopefully) future classmates! I am applying to the Full-Time program with 29 points. Will that be enough? I sure hope so!

Good luck to everyone and I look forward to reading your replies!

I applied too with 27 points. Keeping my fingers crossed!!! Good Luck everyone~

Hello. I was wondering since the first semester is the same does it matter who gets the evening and weekend classes

Thanks

I just turned in my application with 25 points. Needless to say, I am not holding my breath. I was pretty surprised at how quickly they processed my transcripts though. Good luck to everyone!

Does anyone know around when they notify us? Beginning of October, end, or when? How stressful it is to just wait!

I was told end of October :( Long wait!

Jessica

I just found this website. There's lots of useful information here. I applied for spring 2011 as well, with 28 points.

I was also told that we'd hear by the end of October.

It's going to be a long few months.

Good luck everyone! :)

Having the faith for acceptance with 27 points also. They processed my transcript in 4 days. I was very surprised.

I went and dropped my transcript off on Monday and they had it done by Tuesday. It was for an out of state college too. I had attached the course description to it. They also processed my transcript from NSC in about 5 minutes. Apparently, NSC didn't send my transcript after my summer grades posted (like I had requested), they did it immediately. I had no idea they had done that, so I was missing Bio 224 when I went to pick up my DARS on Wed afternoon. I was worried I would have to apply to the fall, but the people at Cheyenne campus were amazing.

How many hours a day would you say that you were studying as a nursing student in the first semester. When did you take your first drug calculations test? Im just curious, I am getting anxious. I applied to Spring 2011track and we should be notified soon as to if we made the cut or not. I applied with 30 points, so keeping my fingers crossed. Can you give me a heads up as to what I am in for??:)

Just wanted to say good luck to you all. I am in 1st semester right now week 6 and it is a lot of work just to stay afloat. Take it 2 weeks at a time lol. Study as much as possible between all the quizzes tests assignments and papers you will be busy. Your 1st d&c test is the 3rd ace (third week of school) we lost 2 people to it. Also, I heard today that the orientation is nov 12th or 19th I think for new students from 8am-4pm be prepared it is ALL day with few breaks.

When do you guys think we start hearing who got in? I am almost sure I won't be getting in :crying2: but I am still anxious for this whole waiting process to pass.

Jess

They say they will let us know the last few days in this month.. I'm getting excited and nervous.
