CSN Spring 2011 RN Program

Good Afternoon All!

I thought it was about time to begin a thread for those applying for entry into the Spring 2011 RN Program at CSN. My big question is: Will you be applying to the full-time or part-time program and with how many points? It might also be nice to get to know some of our (hopefully) future classmates! I am applying to the Full-Time program with 29 points. Will that be enough? I sure hope so!

Good luck to everyone and I look forward to reading your replies!

Thanks for calling Jessel. :)

Now I'm even more nervous. I really need something to distract me. Haha.

Hey all, I am in the same boat, waiting on that phone call! I'm so nervous! Good luck all!

Ok, so I am new here, and just reading through posts...what is the math stuff they are talking about? Just random math tests they give? And what conversions do we need to know?

SunshineDaisy, The math test's are random and they all purtain to the math 100B problems. They just want to make sure everyone is up on their Dosage calculations. Pretty easy stuff :specs:

Is math 100B a class we should have taken before we start the program, becasue I only took math 120 at a different school. I hope its not to my disadvantage.

Math 100B is one of the required courses or Math 120. This is what the sheet says for the requirement:

MATH 100B or Math 120 (or higher) except Math 122 &123

So you are good :)

GL,

Jessica

I just finished Math 100B, whew! thanks for answering :) I am getting so anxious!! I told my husband he's not allowed to check the mail this week:p

tick tock...

Anking8, You are fine if you took math 120. Math 100B is just a lot more about dosage calculations where math 120 is algebra. If you are good at math, have no worries!! :coollook:

So, when we all get in and go to orientation we should wear name tags with our user name here! I need to redirect my mind. My bag of Milky Ways is almost gone:uhoh21:

thank you dolphin123

Hey Sunshine, I think you're wanting to look for phone calls, not the mail. They usually call people that made it into the program and send something in the mail for those that didn't. :)
